I'm way overdue....I intended on commenting on your previous posting on capturing grey owls....then this post hit my feed and was in awe of the overall content. Thanks for taking the time to provide detailed comments on all facets of your techniques...the science and the art of the shot. I really enjoyed the educational points on both the grey and screech owls and the techniques you used to observe and capture on camera safely. Look forward to more videos in the future that increase my knowledge of these mystical birds and how to respectfully capture their grace. Thanks Gerrit!

Hi Gerrit...Great vlog...Agree completely with your ethical photography views...Would greatly appreciate a vlog on your Z9 bird photography settings...Also a field vlog describing your "on the fly" settings decisions as they happen would be great.

Hi Gerrit, Another wonderfully produced video, your constant reminder of the safety of the birds and keeping prying eyes away from your quarry id fantastic and more birders should take a leaf out of your book and promote for situational awareness at all times to protect our wildlife.
Congratulations mate, I really appreciate your wonderfully strong conservation messages and I certainly hope that more than a few get through,

Wonderful video - Thank you very much. Believe it or not, I was lucky enough to photograph a mother Western Screech Owl and her two chicks in my back garden, just east of Sacramento, CA, last year during broad daylight while they were sitting in a large Maple. Please keep up the good work.

Another fantastic and informative vlog. I'm with you and your friend on keeping things like this quiet. I found a barred owl nest a few years ago and have only told a few trusted friends that I know will respect the site. Love these recent videos!

That was the exact instructional video about this owl I needed. Where it likes to live, time of day, and the lighting tips were superb. I'm in Corvallis, and I'm on the lookout for owls every time I'm outside. I found a Pygmy which I was super excited about, and some GHOs. Excellent video, keep 'em coming!

Photos all look great . Do you ever print your photos on Canvas or metal prints?
I'm doing that until I have a large enough collection to do a showing of my photography works. Nice shots .
