Beautiful but it came from Moai Dynasty China then it found it's way to Java
Batik comes from Javanese word, but the culture of painting cloth with wax was brought by Chinese and Indian traders to malaka and developed rapidly in Java. created the 'tjanting' tool which became the identity of batik in southeast Asia.
