The theme was awesome. And cherrie was the biggest cutie pie in the company. I don't think we've seen another super over babyface valet to a heel stable since then.
Deuce was absolutely abominable in the ring but for whatever reason, his jumping calf kick was a thing of beauty. Like, he'd completely stink up the ring, then bust out this one breathtaking kick and it was the most jarring thing.
I was at indy show. I was putting up the ring and Domino was there, Carlito, Haku, and Crimson were all at that show. Man the wisdom they passed on was great. The later on was at another show where Domino was there he remembered me caught up and gave me a dvd of his best indy work even signed it for me. He was a really cool dude.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Paul seems like such a good dude. The type of guy you love to run into because you’re always gonna laugh your balls off, and hear a good story.
Oh God I loved Deuce and Domino I miss that team so much. Wasn't too thrilled when Deuce debuted as Sim Snuka though. I just wanted Deuce and Domino back
deuce n domino were great.... the last team i truly marked out for. i liked deuce. maybe he was a prick, i have no idea, but he played the gimmick great, and was believable as a 50's dude, as was domino. also, the london and kendrick vs deuce n domino matches were always fun to watch
I liked Deuce and Domino too and I thought Cherry was kinda hot lol. Deuce was pretty believable as a greaser, I didn't even realize back then that he is samoan lol. The entrance was pretty cool too
The dude with the car! Lmmfao! I love Paul! Such a cool and fun stoner. Halloween 5! So fuckin random! He was so great in the ring! And even greater as a person. I'd love to just smoke a fatty and have a long conversation with him about some of his experiences and about the boys and wrestlers he worked with. He was in the WWE for some time. And it was a crazy time when he wrestled. Him and Kendrick were one of my favorite tag teams ever! Both super talented!
The guy that created M&M .. Mercury could put a five star match together on the fly. His demons kept him from being a top guy putting matches together.
@@jamesb1988 Morrison took the big bumps in that team. Mercury only got to the main Roster because of Jim Cornette knew Morrison had the mic skills of a wet blanket and Melina kept forgetting to hide her accent. Mercury knew that Snuka was the type to take a small guys head off if he felt he was getting to cocky.
@allenbrown9069 So that's why Mercury told Snuka that he shouldn't sell for London/Kendrick? Instead of being like, you know, "the better you make your opponent look, the more impressive it is when you beat them"? I'm not trying to hate on JM, guy got his face absolutely obliterated by a ladder on PPV... but anybody who suggests no selling/bumping is wrong.

Good for you Paul ! I respect that call of not repeating the Rumble spot . Especially for Sim Snuka who I have heard nothing but bad shit about . But hey , im just a fan . What do I know ? I love the show ! Keep it up !
i’ve been seeing the comments about deuce’s bumping… i did see him trying to catch the ropes a few times, but i thought the way he did it looked cool and realistic? it was different, and out of desperation. he took plenty of flat back bumps for london and kendrick, and sailed all over the ring for them so it’s not like he was making them look bad. domino was the better bumper overall of the team, he had a knack for it. deuce took one really sweet bump though he’d do on occasion where he would charge into the turnbuckle face first like bret hart and then go right over the top rope… deuces offense was also a little more believable than dominos because it came from a place of intensity, domino was very entertaining but offense looked soft compared to deuce. deuce seemed more green when it came to doing spots in the ring. crack em n the mouth was a beautiful finisher, and it’s a shame they didn’t get to use that in milan when they won the titles. bad call to have them win with a move they never did before.
Their gimmick could literally get over in today’s wrestling I mean get 2 guys that are in shape and get them the manager like cherry and maybe a license song and done I’m shocked it hasn’t been used or it has but hasn’t been done in a grant stage
LOVE that London also has Mike in Halloween 5 as one of his favorite kills in the franchise. Great character/kill in an otherwise terrible installment.
I remember enjoying their matches with Duce and Domino. Both teams had personality, and it sucks knowing that some dumb shit from Duce took away from the tag team staying around longer. The 50's gimmick could have evolved and gone through many iterations without looking stale in my eyes for sure.
I remember seeing that on TV... London & Kendrick would do drop kicks on this guy and then he would never bump... I remember that I actually remember that
D/D/C were great I remember when they debut they had the 50s music with the classic cars and they brought it in the ring. very aggressive loud mouths and they had their feud with Paul and Brian.

I just looked it up & Duece is in his 50s. So he was already well into his 30s back then. Being given a 1950s gimmick in a tag team when he’s 2nd generation in his 30s is probably the reason he had a chip on his shoulder.
In my opinion that thing about Snuka not selling their offensives are completely bullshit, I remember watching a match where Brian have wrestled agains both Snuka and Cliff almost the entire match and took a beating but refuse to let them win whats feel like forever...
