Horsepower is the amount of time waiting to get you to that speed based those three factors. Heavier vehicle needs more horsepower, lighter vehicle needs less horsepower. Again, there is nothing genius about what he did. This has been done decades ago, only difference now is resolution and processing speed of the ECU, but everything else is essentially the same.
The Reflection I agree to an extent, the Porsche and the Honda are cool and all, but they lack balance and practical purpose, other than for just going fast in a straight line. I don't believe they engineered their vehicles to be anything other than unique though, they were just trying to squeeze power out of untypical motors. Figuring out how to make 1000 horsepower to the wheels in limited stock Honda Odyssey internals isn't something that can be achieved by everybody though.

Exactly. I still don’t buy the hype. In addition to the poorly mounted Porsche seat, I saw a van with inadequate brakes, I saw the same van break in competition (different video), and a Porsche that’s squiggly under every condition, not to mention air intake filters at pretty much ground level, where a single pebble can take out a turbo, maybe even the whole engine. Where are his degrees from? Very impressive...
For optimal air flow , and with those filters strapped to the turbos there isn't much to worry about , it's similar to how track cars run a Velocity stack
Reliability in this sense means the engine continues to work without exploding or needing a rebuild. Most people running this level of boost need to rebuild everything multiple times a year.
But don't the turbos suck air in through the intercooler on the whale tail? Maybe I'm not quite getting the turbo placement. Would someone mind explaining?

The J series honda V6 is an amazing engine to make power from
"where reliability is key" That's why you put the air filter exposed almost on the ground behind the wheels.
For optimal air flow , and with those filters strapped to the turbos there isn't much to worry about , it's similar to how track cars run a Velocity stack
it's self--cleaning filters. New technology not available to the public yet.
Reliability in this sense means the engine continues to work without exploding or needing a rebuild. Most people running this level of boost need to rebuild everything multiple times a year.
But don't the turbos suck air in through the intercooler on the whale tail? Maybe I'm not quite getting the turbo placement. Would someone mind explaining?
