Paul, I watched you review of the Neo and picked that up. But I was trying to find something a little better since I'm getting a little better with the AB. So I think the "C" is the winner. Thanks for the review.
Just a thought - if you're setting your regulator pressure with the trigger closed then when spraying I'd expect it to be 2-3psi lower. This will be inside the sweet spot for the 0.2mm nozzle where as for the Eclipse models they suggest 25-35psi is the sweet spot - in my opinion this is why you conclude that the atomisation from the B model is superior. A very good review, thank you.
i think the HP-B will be my next airbrush. I currently use an HP-CS and I love Iwata products. I'm looking forward to trying out the HP-B! Thanks for the review!
Like yourself Paul I was a H&S man but bought a Iwata revolution great AB and recently purchased a Iwata HP-C awesome ,next on list is HP-B can’t fault Iwata now 👍👍👍👍👍
Paul nice review on the IWATA HP-C PLUS and the HP-B PLUS one day I might pick up the HP-C for now I use my GREX TRITIUM.TS its a Double Action Pistol Style Trigger plus I have the Badger 155 anthem airbrush you have a great day.
Hi Paul. I've been using the HP-C+ for a couple of years now and luv it. Been looking at the reviews by Leigh/Lee on the TRN 1 & 2 and been considering them for a 1/16 Tamiya RC Abrams which I intend to do in Aussie colours using SMS lacquers and Tamiya primers. What are your thoughts? also, what airbrushes do you have in your stable, so to speak and what are your "go to ones" these days? Have you a video on which air brush for which job/paint type? Thanks heaps, I've learnt a great deal from you to date. Apprciate your efforts.
excellent review-It seems you are turning to Iwatas recently since your review of the Hi Line through to the Custom micron then this. I use the Iwata HP CH Hi Line (I got it based on your HP CH review and have never looked back).
why you became a iwatta fan from being a h&s fan .. i personally think h&s are more easier to clean than iwatta .. havent used iwatta yet besides TRN2 . But i have ordered hp b plus and i am eager to see whats the iwatta hype is all about 🙂
Hi there are many models of Iwata sprays there are Hp-cs, HP-CH, Hp-c Plus and Hp-B Plus, I am now in a whirlpool Please help me I want to buy one of the models and I do not have experience Please help me, thanks a lot 🌹
I have used the HP-C+ for about 8 years and agree that it's a high quality tool with a great range of applications. Love how easy it is to clean.
Great to hear!

Long term review: what’s your all times favorite airbrush after all these years? Are you still using a paintbrush at all?
Yes I still brush paint smaller details all the time, Iwata HPC+ for me all day long followed by the Ultimate Apex Airbrush
The B looks way better then, for small work
What’s best for detail work

Yep im an iwata convert, the HP-Ch is a great brush as well - Paul
Hi Paul, nice review. Don't you need crown cups for both of them?
Not really no mate, i get one fine using the brush to clean out the nozzles once the needle is pulled back - Paul
+International Scale Modeller Thank you. I'm going to buy the C.
You wont regret it, make sure to look at air-craft.net great service form martin - Paul
+International Scale Modeller Definitely Paul. I have bought other airbrushes and spraybooth from Martin, very satisfied. Great guy indeed! Cheers.
been an iwata user for a few years. how is the atomization compated to a steenbeck. i just bought another b plus
i find it much better the be honest, its just all round a better brush IMO
Thank you. Yeah mine arrived snd im loving it.
Nice review, but why use grey paint on a grey surface.....? Really hard to see what happens.
Basically because that’s what I choose 5 years ago :)
@@InternationalScaleModeller That's allright then. No problem

or was it the trigger response on the h&s that made you to choose iwatta over h&s
I just prefer the build quality and ease of use, owned both brands for many years and the Iwata are the ones I find best to use :)
@@InternationalScaleModeller thank u for replying
