    Apple has really impressed me with their original series, silo, monarch, foundation, now this show. Already, this one has me hooked. I love the way it uses quantum physics and the observer effect to explain what’s happening. The attention to detail is incredible, I’m going to have to watch each episode more than once to catch it all.

      Couldn't agree more and we've actually covered all those shows!
      Yes, Constellation has a great attention to detail and it's only going to get better. There's a lot of subtle details in this show that connect the story which we enjoy!

      I was wondering if Apple TV was worth a subscription but they're really building up a nice sci-fi library. I enjoyed all the ones you mentioned though foundation was a bit odd. But guess that's what happens when you adapt Isaac Asimov classics from a time when computers smartphones space travel didn't exist in the author's time. Also I enjoyed see about a future where everyone goes blind and is Jason Momoa best role. Severance is pretty good too.

      Agree! Don't forget 'Severance'!

    They keep talking about the observer effect, which brings to mind both the double-slit experiment and the Schrödinger's cat thought experiment.

    Alice can see alternate realities because she witnessed the explosion of the experiment over the iPad..

      Hmm interesting theory 🤔

      Then why is Magnus not as well? I had the exact same thought, but if that’s the case, would Magnus not be experiencing the same? I guess it’s plausible that he is and we as viewers are not seeing his POV?

    • @jimatmezzacello366

      Disembodied observer effect? That is quite an interesting theory! The dual slit experiment DOES collapse when an electronic sensor is present! Wow! What a great theory!

    • @tadzaku
      @tadzaku 5 месяцев назад +2

      @cartistan3247 I don't think Magnus witness the explosion... cause he asked if everything was OK when he saw Alice face.. but I could be wrong

    • @nirachien2274
      @nirachien2274 5 месяцев назад

      @tadzaku Yeah, Magnus was not on the call with Alice, he didn't observe anything.

    Note the images have the devil or angel blindfolded or looking away, which also highlights some reference to the observer effect

    When Jo arrives at ESA at night, she sees Henry in his office talking to Bud in the black screen, than she does the tests in the pills and without knowing she acces the other dimension, where she is not seen by "normal" people, like the workers. In the scene where Jo goes talk to Henry about the drug test she made, it is Bub at the desk (no glasses) and henry is the one trapted in the black screen (glasses); the two paintings are from the finish painter Hugo Simberg, the wounded angel, and devil by the pop, respectivetly.

      Or is man at the end of the scene with Jo neither Henry, nor Bud but a third autonomous human in the third, liminal, state. He seemed to be a much more ominous figure with his slow eyebrow raise and warning about curious cats, which is a phrase that directly refers to Shroedinger's cat.

      We've speculated that there could be a number of multiple realities in this and not just the two 🤔

    Great video! I'm so eager to see the next episode! I think it's certain there's 2 realities but also a 3rd that merges the two. So all 3 are intertwined when observed. It makes sense in my head kinda but I'm just hoping something gets explained in the next!

    Nice job on the breakdown for this episode. I watched a couple others before yours that had thousands of views, but yours is far superior. I’ve subscribed to your channel and I look forward to following your videos after I’ve watched each episode of this intriguing show.
    So far, It’s kind of a cross between Interstellar, Coherence, Dark, and The Astronauts Wife. I like that realm of psychological horror scifi, and I’m really enjoying Constellation, but I do hope it leads us somewhere different than where those other films have already gone.

      Wow! Thanks for the amazing comment and of course subscribing!! We'll be covering this weekly so look forward to your thoughts on future videos!
      Hopefully it will end well. I'm already trying to imagine where a second season can lead to. Can they drag this story out for multiple seasons? I'm not sure.

      Yeah it's got a bit of everything. Possible time travel and parallel universe messed up the timeline and memories for her. I think the director was researching the God particle about how to open up portals thru space and time kinda like in Cloverfield paradox.

    Magnus puts her in a cupboard bcs it calms her down. This version of Alice likes to do that when she is distressed.

      The closet is like her safe haven because after she came back from space her DNA somehow mutated so she shifts thru time and multiverse dimensions and affects the people around her. That's what it seems like.

      I get why he would put her in there from a comforting point of view - but why not a bed or a nice comfy chair with a blanket😂

  • @cartistan3247

    Wondering if Alice is experiencing the multiple realities because she was on FaceTime with Jo during the CAL Experiment. But then why is Magnus not affected in the same way? I was headstrong on this being why Alice is experiencing it but your thought that it’s when Jo ends up stealing the CAL seems more plausible since Magnus is not involved in the reality slipping, to our knowledge.

    • @Q-Dads
      @Q-Dads  5 месяцев назад

      We to think that Magnus could also be experiencing these slips in reality but we just haven't seen his point of view yet. I think this is one of the bigger questions around Alice and her slipping... We're intruiged to find out why.

    Too bad this show isn't more mainstream. I'm worried it'll get cancelled since almost no one knows about it.

    • @jonfreeman9682
      @jonfreeman9682 5 месяцев назад +2

      It won't get cancelled as I noticed Apple has a pretty good track record of supporting shows. They are making a name in sci-fi with foundation, see, silo, severance and haven't heard them cancel anything yet.
