I still have my original, big box copy of this masterpiece on VHS I bought in Forbidden Planet many, many years ago. No video player to play it on though.
I don’t know whether to think of this video as a time capsule of an early 90s Tom Baker, or if he stills partially feels this way today at the grand old age of 90 himself. Still though, it was a right old laugh haha.
Tom Baker is Honestly A Phenomenal Person. Even though he’s telling you his lifestyle and how he thinks, you STILL Don’t know what’s going on in that head of his. There’s still a mist of mysterious around him. You never know where Tom starts and where his Doctor ends. *Think Of Jesus~*
I saw the Silver Chair with Tom baker, it was quite good. The BBC Narnia series is worth checking out if possible. Here's a thought, would you guys every review the BBC Narnia series? Or at least the Silver Chair with Tom Baker in it?
I think the parrot could be Tom, he does voice both Long John Silver and Captain Flint in the Big Finish adaptation of Treasure Island back in 2012/2013
I've been listening to Tom Baker interviews and anecdotes (true, after a while you realise some of the same stories get wheeled out - the curse of the famous person who has to give interviews and doesn't like revealing anything truthful - he himself says actors are accomplished liars). This was more bonkers than I expected (Tom interviewing himself! Probably hilarious when it was pitched - after a night of G&T and ale drinking?) - sadly, also more rambly and navel-gazing. His wife must cherish every word that comes out of his mouth - or isn't a discerning director - this sorely needed a good edit, structure and less off-tangent waffle. Granted, Tom's ramblings are usually entertaining but this wandered into windbag territory and doesn't reflect well on him, for once. All it reveals is a man who likes the sound of his own voice and doesn't care if the listener is engaged (happens when you're plastered, which he seemingly is towards the end). I can't believe they released it in this form and thought fans would enjoy it. It *is* quite touching when he says the thought of his fans all dying off fills him with horror and is a hint at some sort of vulnerability. Agree this is a good indication of how Tom could be a law unto himself - this is batshit and only an adoring wife or uber-fan with blinkers firmly on could release this. Or I'm missing the point - is it a weird parody that's meant to be poking fun at its subject? Let's hope remaining VHS tapes are all buried in the desert somewhere (next to the Atari ET cartridges). Thanks for the commentary, much more interesting than the video! I still love Tom, though...
15:42, That’s all we need.

Just What on Earth have I witnessed?
This would make a wonderful A24 award nominated masterpiece
Take a drink every time Tom says Omnipresent.
A bottle of wine each time yeah?
This video, and the commentary is a masterpiece.
That cover art is the stuff of nightmares.
Been mulling over whether to sign up to the patreon. Now I’m throwing my house deposit at it.
I would love to see The Ten Doctors commentary come to RUclips!
“Don’t let the truth get in the way of a good story.”

Despite the single camera, single actor this can't possibly be scripted. 😵💫 WTF?
