@@kaekuda true, but I was listening on Bluetooth speakers. For me what matters the most is how the average listener is going to hear it, in their car, iPhone speakers, Bluetooth etc. blue yeti sounds better to me, & I’m honestly a fan of higher priced mics over cheaper

Best “cheap” mic I’ve used, and still use is the Lauten 220. It is $300, but honestly for the quality, the price is bangin if you really want a professional sound for a non professional price lmaoo. Also the MXL V76, shits only $70-$100 depending on where you get it from. That Neuman everyone’s goal tho 😫

With the neuman you need some hardware to help it. Like a better AI and a preamp and a hardware compressor and mess with their settings. That’s how u get true studio quality

The AT2035 is perfect for recording vocals, but DRY vocals. Ive got 2 and 2 AT2040 mics as well.

how do you record on the yeti with almost no latency, i never managed to achieve that when i used to use a usb mic
go to your audio driver preferences in FL/whatever, set your audio driver to ASIO, open your driver preferences and lower the input buffer size, this will reduce latency at the cost of higher CPU usage (only a concern if you have a very very potato CPU)
@@lownitro1385 i know, 256 samples still has a massive delay when using FL Studio ASIO, it doesnt make much of a difference
@@jebiseveca 256 is a high latency setting u gotta set it to 128 or 64, and chances are your plugins are causing the latency not the mic
@@YusoMusic bro i know, i have an audio interface and i dont have issues since i set it to 128, im just curious on how he achieves it with FL Studio ASIO since its very unreliable when it comes to latency with a usb mic
@@jebiseveca probably your laptop or pc just old and got a bad processor or it’s just fl cause i got a old mac that doesn’t run the best and when i used a yeti with logic there was still never latency

good shit but the blue yeti take was on the verse of clipping, would be dope if u would actually talk about the characteristics etc.; just some feedback :)
Had to turn it down so much and it still wasnt enough aha. not sure why the yeti is so loud
@@gunnr yeah thats why i figured i'll let you know, you can always turn the signal up but as soon as it clips there's nothing u can do to actually fix it :)

what gain settings do you use on the blue yeti, and do u record wit any effects (like noise gate), or just raw? thanks!
For me I drop the high ends with an eq and also use a noise gate (for background noise) and record with presets - everything else is done in post for me

well the first mic (the blue yeti) was recorded with no interface because its a usb mic. i 100% suggest getting an xlr mic but make do with what you got!
