I have had this case for a few months and I get to say that while the case is cool, the software Hyte Nexus has not had any updates since release and there are some extremely annoying issues. The main issue is the software always starts up on the screen when the computer starts, as there is no start minimized feature. Secondly, since it is considered another monitor, the mouse can occasionally get lost inside their screen. Finally, the responsiveness of the touch screen is not as great as you would hope. Hopefully Hyte will correct these shortcomings soon, but as of yet I see no active development of the nexus software. For $350 I really expect much better support.
@@jsizzle2k6 Not really want it for the touch, the main reason is it's a bigger case and I can actually fit the ice giant CPU Cooler in it (which very few cases can). Not even the Y60 can fit it.
Anyone having issue with the touch screen not connecting correctly, changing the orientation of the display in nvidia control panel worked instantly for me
@@B_WOOD808 None of the "gestures" work. It interacts with my monitor, not the touch screen. Support took me to several videos, uninstalling and reinstalling. Unplugging, power cycle, etc. As of now, it'll display some widgets (though it won't recognize my location or find it for the weather). So, its pretty, but has no function, such as volume control in discord, etc.
I just installed my Snow White Y70 infinity touch panel and it took a few times of uninstalling and reinstalling to get it to go through the install process and once it finally installed I got a notification saying that my firewall blocked some or all of the nexus features and I clicked allow but the app itself will NOT open?!?!
how do u arrange widgets? i cant figure out how to drag them to re-arrange them, like move one from on the top below other one etc. is there actually no way to do this?
@HYTE, Can you add a feature to start the Nexus Software minimized or open in background? I dislike how the software is the first thing that opens automatically and stays open until you close it.
@@krukbee Pressing "enter" as it describes in the steps ends the calibration. It doesn't move the instructions to the Y70 monitor. You can recalibrate through Nexus, but that is just touching the screen.

Happens to me if i shut down nexus and reopen it says the same thing what works for me of i run nexus on start up and restarting the pc might work for you if you haven't tried that already

the 1st screen with the dock icons (file explorer etc) at the bottom are off center even after calibration and correct screen resoultion. Anyone have any fixes? Ive tested a 4070 and 4080 GPU, swapped power supplies, reinstalled nexus, and nothing is fixing it.

this software is pretty horrible. just dropped almost 400 bucks for a case and the software is garbage. buggy as hell. dont do what u want it to do. confusing as hell. like something for a mac not pc. widgets are pointless. cpu and gpu do absolutely nothing just list the name of your model.

@@chaoschaot3805 yes and no. they fixed some issues but others remain. they are putting more updates out so I am more hopeful than I was.

how do I stop the mouse cursor from going to it? It's soo irritating.
Go onto display settings where you'd go if you have dual monitors... lower it down it makes it alot harder to get the mouse onto it.
I only got loading screen. I was patience, i waited 2 hours.... Restarted, tried again, still loading screen. Worth the freakin 400 bucks..
After calibrating, it diesnt register touch. Touching it acts like Im holding LMB on my monitor.
you have to press enter and move the calibrating instruction to the y70 monitor

i think i messed something up because i didnt get any of those pop ups. my screen is stuck on a "y70 touch" screen
Make sure you’re plugged directly to the motherboard on the usb for the screen and not into a splitter I just had that happen on mine

Hi, the faces cant detect the screen, even when i turn on the nexus and the screen says "y70 touch" on it. How can I fix it?

hyte, suggestion can you add accessory rack for extra HDD/SSD, I had 5 ssd but the y70 can accommodate 4 ssd/2 HDD
Invest in m.2 nvme so some are on your board lol. I have 3 ssd on my board 6tb total. Do you have 5 sata ssd 256 gb?
