This is the full story or complete version of the Waterborne Poetry event Gala Part 2 titled "Tears Among the Leaves", recorded in HD quality and English VA. The whole group of participants awaited us the next day in Stone Gate for the second part of Waterborne Poetry competition the first program proper being an Inspiration Walk where everyone gets divided into two groups. Xiao decided to join in the fun this time and got grouped together with Traveler and Paimon, Diona, and Chongyun. Diona being the bartender that she is, created drinks for the Liyue characters and surprised them instantly (Chongyun even got high for a second there). Meanwhile, the second group with Noelle, Mika, and Xingqiu went a little awkward at first but carried through to the end. They even recruited the water lady with blue hair named Callirhoe. Making the event even more exciting is Geo Archon's participation -- Mr. Zhongli himself commissioned by Hu Tao to be there. The next part of the event is a challenging Couplet exchange contest where everyone gets to participate. For the second time around, Paimon got her chance to shine once more. I liked that Xiao and the Traveler started talking a lot lmao they literally stand on the sidelines and talk, and that moment where the Traveler says a poem is actually a separate form of art
The best part about this is that, after ages, Xiao finally smiles for a brief second.

"Sweet Dream" is an actual dish in game, is the special one you get when cooking almond tofu with xiao and the one he sends to you on his birthday
Wasn't expecting Zhongli to show up, then again not surprising since Venti was there.
I love seeing them together they each know who the other is but no one else besides us do

Diona is underrated on this event. Her voice acting is top notch especially the "It makes me FURIOUS!" line has a lot of frustrations to it and it's funny af 😂

Is it me or does Xiao's voice sound very different here than how he sounded years ago?
The direction has gotten a little better for sure in my eyes; before there seemed to be a lot of aggression in lines where they shouldn't have been which can largely change one's impression of him.
