Even though I’m a very strong independent woman, I’m discovering that I am a people pleaser; especially to the ones I love. That has taken me down paths that I never wanted and made me extremely resentful. Now that I’m self aware I’m struggling with overwhelm…especially with my adult children. I ruminate over their childhood and what I put them through by staying in an unhealthy marriage. I have a lot of guilt. I’m realizing now that I can’t save anyone. I have to take care of myself first before I can offer anyone anything. Getting healed requires doing inner work and accepting ourselves for who we are, limitations and all. I don’t have to be everything to everyone.

Pastor Kim! Love Mimi, my Mimi which is my mother is 78 years young. I love that she goes to the gym which is one thing that I need to start doing consistently. I would say I have been on an inner healing journey. I am growing and healing! Praise God! One thing that I need to do more of is putting boundaries down with people. And that it is okay to say no to people. Also, letting go any resentments and keeping my heart right and getting real with myself! Thank you both what a blessings.
Hi you two I love you guys you know what when you were talking about your father and husband about how he thought of not getting dementia because some one in the family has it that me I'm the one with thought about cancer because everyone seems to die from stomach cancer and i have told my self that I will not get that but the thought linger in my mind i know this is not good for me please pray that i renew my find and take captive of my thoughts and brake this generational curse
