Great stuff, as always. I imagine a variation of the up-down where the net player has to let the high ball bounce and then hit an overhead or drive. I have not done this drill yet. If my partner or I get lobbed, I am pretty clumsy in retreat, even if I have all the time to hit the high bouncing ball.
When Mo is standing in the middle of the box and wacking the ball right at you at 5:37, why must you "never move back"?. Doesn't taking a step back give you more time to react to the ball? 🤔
If you step back as the ball is coming at you you'll be off balance. If you can back up a step or two BEFORE she nails it at you, then yes, you have a bit more time.
My #1 problem. How do I find people who want to work on drills? When I ask people to play, they always want to play matches. I’ve been complaining about this for years. I use a ball machine but it’s not the same as drills.
