@@forrestdupre9916 agreed. But at least it was good enough to keep you wanting..when I first saw mickey's Christmas Carol, it was ran back to back with mickey and the beanstalk. So it felt a bit more fulfilling
I love Scrooge. I can remember watching this when I was a kid in the 80s. When my mom put me to bed that night after I watched it for the first time, I remember asking her, 'Why did Tiny Tim have to die?' Every year she asks me if I remember asking her that. Hardee's sold the stuffed toys for MCC. I still have all mine. I also grew to love all of Dicken's writings too.
The first story my father read to me aloud was an adaptation of this version of the story, in a big Disney-themed storybook. And look where I am now- completely obsessed with A Christmas Carol in general.

can you do a video on The Addams Family movies? also you did one on the first Hunger Games movies but not on the sequels, those would also be cool to watch. looking forward to whatever movies you decide to cover next :)
Thanks Dreamer! My first Hunger Games movie did terribly because my audience generally doesn't respond well to PG-13 movies, but I'll keep Addams Family mind towards October
@@FunFactFilms oh really? i know we're all different but that's strange considering how popular that franchise was. glad to feel heard though and that i might have that to look forward to come october, thanks for responding :D
Correct. Prior to 1986 the last time Minnie spoke in animation was the early 1950s and the voice actress was Ruth Clifford. Janet Waldo voiced Minnie in 1974 on a vinyl album adaptation of "A Christmas Carol". When Minnie began having dialogue in cartoons again in the mid 1980's Russi Taylor became the new voice and remained in the role until she passed away in 2019.
This is one of the better renditions of A Christmas Carol
ITS TOO SHORT!!!

This felt like it was an hour and a half long when I was a kid
Has anyone watched the Christmas movie with Donald's nephews and Mickey and Mini's Christmas special Once upon a Christmas?
Yes I have!
I've seen twice upon a Christmas

Awesome video! Can you do one for Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas?
And Twice
My favorite version of the tale. And Scrooge's VA had some serious dedication to it.
My favorite christmas movie, I even have the record. Its relatively short, but packs so much meaning and emotion.
This is one of my absolute favorite Xmas films! ❤️
The Santa Claus on the street is the Big Bad Wolf lol
I love being a watcher of a small channel I watch these movies every year

Minnie not talking is made even more odd by the fact that Daisy does.

Actually Russi Taylor didn't become the voice of Minnie Mouse until 1986 so there's no way that she could've recorded dialog for this short
