You try to run but it chases you around every corner and still somehow manages to find you. Something that sleeps with you in your mind and no matter what you do you can't rid yourself of it? Well, today im sharing with you all that very thing for me. Stick with me as we take a pile of parts from the internet and try to turn them into something ridiculously fast.

I love the fact that you show all of the raw imperfections of the castings and all of your welds and it's pretty straightforward and straight. I like your videos a lot because this is pretty much how I do things. Except for welding aluminum
I'm not good at welding aluminum yet I have not had much practice at it. I have been using the tig but mostly on steel.
Practice makes perfect, even if no practice time then ask and watch alot on youtube too 🤙 it helps keep the mind fresh

The PTO end of ur crank!! Holy MOLY…. U better take sum valve lapping compound to the crank and flywheel will assure a PERFECT FIT! CLean everything REALLy GOOD and TORQUE to 85ft lbs w/green loc-tight
Rig it up with the FLYWHEEL PULLER to a DRILL and lap it in for a few min and it will automatically just want to SEIZE… that lets u low the SURFACES are READY!!! Wipe it all OFF, break clean, and re-install w/green loc-tight. Washer-nut-85ft lbs A N D *DONE*!!

If you work for yourself, would you suggest someone getting into doing powder coating for a living?
@@r7kelley553 unless you work in small parts with minimal equipment, i would say yes. But you will need to expand. Depending on how far you go, at Least a walk in oven and a wash bay, along with the parts hangers will be needed. I find it to be very relaxing work that I love. But I suggest you look into the cost and space needed.

Hey man I have a question I was thinking about running e85 on my banshee a while ago but was told not to because it doesn’t mix well with oil and is really corrosive. How are you going to run it any information on it would really help me out thanks. I haven’t watched the whole video jet so might have missed something on the topic.

Ive binged watched all your Banshee videos all week and boom another. Been trying to snap one up locally, but I can't justify spending 5k on a clapped out quad. I'll just have to be patient and wait for the right one to pop up

I'm a machinist,, so when I say this it's from exp... DONT LEAVE the key in the chuck on the lathe. You WILL regret it some day. I've seen noobs leave it in there and accidentally turn the lathe on and the bar/key break their arm, or the gears in the lathe or, or, or.. take it out of the chuck EVERYTIME.
my first Day in the machineshop the older guys showed me the holes in the cyling from this kind of accidents.... luckyly no one was hurt
@beekone28 you don't really think it can do as much damage as it can. I left the key in there 1 time, my father saw me do that and made sure I got the point. I never did it again. Love for parenting in the 80s.

Get ur rear SHAW shortened 1”inch but 1st maybe bottom the rear adjustment. Too add on the front shaws unscrew the tops and just run the provided holes on the frame. DONT SELL the SHEARER in-frames cuz it probably will make better power w/them. LET The dyno prove it!
You know whats funny is it runs much richer with the cpi which makes me think the flow less! That makes sense 🤙
@@StupidFastJohn we have a few 521’s with in-frames and perform AMAZING but we have ONLY 1 with OUT-OF-FRAME (both left dumps) and of course SHEARERS ONLY that is OuR main DRAGGER with LSR CHASSIS +12 FRONT
@@StupidFastJohn u WANT a DUAL APPLICATION?…. Go W/in-frame SHEARERS!! Make sure your SHEARERS have the BIG SILENCERS that match the STINGERS cuz if not the EXHAUST will hit a BRICK WALL (lip) and causing overheating/loss of performance. Check them out and let me know..
Maybe with the crush nut OUT and tighten the bottom mount ONLY to the Shaw that may be enough to lower it like u want before u spend money to modify the shock. Red lock-tight the bottom mount threads so it DONT MOVE

Aluminum tubing for the frame, front sprocket, transmission springs, gasket kit, rear sunf tires, chains, all were purchased from amazon.

Maybe one day but the corrosiveness and explosiveness is what worries me. Its easier to blow them up, plus it eats seals etc so much faster and then you gotta purge it as well.
Im 70, and when i get done with building my ol girl @goldenwheeledBanshee im down for a race or 10.
