Tbh, I get so amused and excited for JapanTown.. everything seems so pretty and cool. Also Calpis and Erin!!!! I have daiso near me,so it's pretty cool as i can everything here like RM 5 plus..not sure what's the currency's of the us dollar.. but daiso stuff is so cheap and good quality as well.❤️
@Grays_Diaries Japantown is really wonderful. It's such a great place to visit. Dennis was so happy to find Calpis! :-) Daiso is the best. I love that store. There is one near me also (I live about an hour away from San Francisco). I love Daiso! Have a good weekend!

This was actually filmed in 2019 ☺️☺️☺️. We were a bit behind on editing hah. But we loved the city. We hope to come back in a few years ❤️

I was already planning on taking my husband to Alcatraz to watch the sunset over SF and now i will also take him to spend some time in JT before we catch the last boat out to the prison.
I'm taking him to explore new to us places in our favorite city for our 17th anniversary.

I was there yesterday but its so different, most people are wearing mask and servers are wearing mask, but ofcourse no mask while eating or drinking, is this video made six months ago?

Yeah we can imagine it must be very different now. This was actually shot in the summer of 2019 ☺️☺️☺️☺️. But it took us a while to edit and publish it 😇

PS From my point of view, the best place of all in SF Japantown is the Benkyo-do, where we got the delicious fresh mochi. :-) Those are phenomenal. I'm so glad we were able to visit that shop.

Btw. did you know that "pan de mie" in certain french dialects is the word for a loaf of white bread? Whenever I read "Pandemie" in our newspapers I like to think about a nice fluffy sandwich 😋.
