Inspector Gadget remains popular, it aired in local broadcast syndicated stations apporximately almost 41 years later. It airs on a local digital broadcast station in NYC, Qubo TV, one night a week in a 65 hour block. And until April 2020, it was airing 7 days a week, everyway between qubo and another local digital station, light TV. Despite its 2nd and last season airing in 1986, Inspector Gadget was briefly aired on CBS as part of CBS' Saturday morning Kid TV line up from 1991-1992 alongside with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and remained on many local stations until 1994, and in syndication (and cable networks like Nickelodeon, Fox Family (and later ABC Family) until the early 2000's.
It’s kinda funny how the first live action movie made inspector gadget a little bit more better at his job, but the second movie did the better on being closer to the cartoon version
Inspector Gadget are by now, he aired in syndication on various broadcast network affiliates across the U.S., aired on cable TV on Nickelodeon, CBS, NYC's WWOR/9 & WWOR-EMI Service, The Family Channel, FOX Family, ABC Family, (various "PSA" segments on PAX Kids), THiS TV, Starz Encore Family, Light TV, Qubo, and now he returns to broadcast syndicated TV on MeTV Toons for the first time in almost 30 years, since 1994.
Gadget in the USA also had 2 different voice actors before DiC settled on Don Adams (who played Agent 86 in Get Smart). Jesse White and Gary Owens were the first two considered for the role (Owens can be heard in the original winter Olympics pilot. Unfortunately Jesse White's Gadget has never been found).
