If Sony keeps forcing its customers to go digital only, I would rather go with Steam due to their better attitude towards gamers than Sony. I kept money aside for pro but now Im watching closely and may invest a bit more and go the pc route.

Horizon is great game serie, i like it. If you don't that is fine too. To each their own i guess. Part 3 is what i want to see, lego horizon aside, mmo live service stuff is simply not for me. Risky because never know how long they excist, dlc extra pay for this and that crap. I just want a finished game with good story and gameplay. Oh and no politics crap in it.

Already made that decision, had set money aside when I bought my ps5 to maybe get a pro as what we were led to believe the base ps5 was capable of (4k at 120fps etc) the pro would be a beast. Buy they are promoting it as 4k 60fps and using a new kind of dlss Sony has made. I'm sorry but decision made no more playstations cause there's no games. Remaster after remaster. I can get them better on my pc now that they're on it. So I will be waiting for them to come to pc and spend the money I had for pro and add some and upgrade my pc in the new year.

Why do people think remasters are pushing back new games? It takes hundreds or thousands of people and 5 to 8 years to make a new game. Remasters are literally a handful of people that work maybe half a year. Studios NEED money between the huge gaps between the new games, and remasters are a great way to make it. Without them, even more studios will start layoffs.

You're acting like this is news. Horizon online has been in deveplopment for a long time now. It should release fairly soon. There were major leaks for it a while back with screenshots of a development tool (cheat mode) where you could see a lot of game features. Also, this is developed by a different team that is working on Horizon 3. Stop being so dramatic.
I've owned Horizon Zero for several yrs and I hadn't played more than 30 mins. I'll upgrade it and play it on my PS5. So for me the remaster is a good thing.

one thing you forgot about the Horizon online game is that it isnt being made by Gorrila its being made by NCSoft, Gorilla are just providing support in the sense of instructing them on the world that the game will take place in. a good example would be like when Obsidian made Fallout New Vegas and Bethesda provided support by telling them what they could and couldnt do in fallout.

I would love an open world live service I think I think it’s a perfect franchise for it. I never play live service at all, I got helldivers and played it an hour but this would be really interesting if it’s as good as it could be. Dude a horizon multi-player game has been known about for years. It not new. And so what one of their live service games failed. Mlb,destiny,gt7 and helldivers 2 say hold my beer.
I don't like the oversaturated colors of the remaster, and the 10 hours of re-recorded dialog and mocap means they are changing things. I just got a $10 game key for Steam before it's delisted. I can do my own graphical/ character mods. I'll play the remaster when it drops on PS+ for the Platinum trophy.
Horizon may look good, but it's just a crappy modern game with mashed up mechanics from games you've been playing for the past 20 years, nothing new or interesting. it's not really that big of a loss, and for a fact, check out how many people replay this game? I never play live service at all, I got helldivers and played it an hour but this would be really interesting if it’s as good as it could be. But ya a bigger turn around for the third game wouldn’t be worth it I think, didn’t think about that

I’m not a fan of the game myself but I hope for those that are, that it turns out fine. Just choose wisely folks-no paying for preorders no “early access” nothing of that sort get reviews first then invest after that. You as a consumer don’t deserve to be misled by these companies.

Live service sucks and as a long time sony fan(ps1 in the summer of 99')I want single player story driven stuff, offline play. I want game to be preserved, not just "rent" it for a while until they shut down the servers. Online gaming is killing gaming...period! I play some online games but realize they can be taken away at any point 😔

It came out recently that BEND studios didn't even pitch the idea of a Days Gone 2 to Sony, the creative director behind part one was fired for being a douche bag and Bend studios wanted nothing to do with the game anymore.

Dude a horizon multi-player game has been known about for years. It not new. And so what one of their live service games failed. Mlb,destiny,gt7 and helldivers 2 say hold my beer.
I don't like the oversaturated colors of the remaster, and the 10 hours of re-recorded dialog and mocap means they are changing things. I just got a $10 game key for Steam before it's delisted. I can do my own graphical/ character mods. I'll play the remaster when it drops on PS+ for the Platinum trophy.
Horizon may look good, but it's just a crappy modern game with mashed up mechanics from games you've been playing for the past 20 years, nothing new or interesting. it's not really that big of a loss, and for a fact, check out how many people replay this game? I bet it's alarmingly low! people just one and done these types of games because they simply aren't that good, the pulling power or the legs they have are so low it's unreal.

Bro this is just dramatic lol. Haven't we known about a Horizon multiplayer title or titles for years now? I think a multiplayer Horizon game would be cool if done right, playstation has a lot of title that would well with multiplayer. I think one of the reason concord failed was because no one wants another hero shooter they are too many. This doom and gloom stuff is getting a little much. If you don't like multiplayer wait for the 3rd game simple.....Some people like to play games with their friends. Let's all just wait and see what it's like before we bring out the pitchforks.
Playstation fans asked for a sequel to Days Gone and Killzone…instead we’re getting three Horizon Zero games…the industry isn’t out of touch with its audience…it doesn’t seem like they care much about what people want, theyre invested on “certain” trends of games that they believe we should be playing and maybe we will tell ourselves someday that these games they want us to play are fun…buy and support the games you want to see. They only listen to your dollar gamers.
Competition brings out the best in pretty much everything. At least it's a $10.00 upgrade, but I would rather Sony put out PS 2 and 3 remakes not games from a few years ago.

I don't care if Horizon live service is the best game ever, it won't be but just saying, I'm still not going to be playing it that long. What they don't seem to understand is that people can only play so many live service or even just single-player games. There just isn't enough time in our lives for all the LS games. Plus, the ones that are already successful aren't going anywhere. Playstation just doesn't seem to get it. In trying to make billions, they are losing billions. Ridiculous.
