Although this is not my favorite album, "20 Y.O." has some gems like Call On Me, So Excited and my favorite song is Daybreak. Love that song.

I feel like a lot people didn’t get the concept of this album 🤦🏽♀️ however I always love this album. I’m a huge Stan fan but just recently I started to re listen to this album & I fell in love with it even more. At the beginning of the album she stated she just wanted to have fun. Plus each song sort sample some of her songs from last albums. Not to mention she was celebrating 20 years since the Control album. Janet always pull on my heart strings especially when she smile. #EmpressOfPop

There was no concept!!! The album is awful.
This one of Janet's best albums. I don't understand why some people don't like it.
Call On Me, Enjoy, This Body, Do It 2 Me, and Daybreak are some of my favorites. Janet is legendary.

The harmonies on this album were amazing … not my favorite Janet album but it was still a great listen.
I like this album 17 years later though. When I first heard it, I felt like it was a contract obligation for her to move on from Virgin at that time. I still feel that way, but the nostalgia makes me keep this album close to my heart.
That noise she makes at 24:57 kills me!!! And I love her mimicking the British accent
She is such a beauty, love me some Janet! So glad I grew up on her music and movies/shows. ❤️

Radio...damm I'm old. Lol. Extremely loyal to this woman. I love the choreography, but I think her best dance/choreographer was Paula, the moves, I think, were just.....bangin!!!. My favorite was the 87 American Music Awards when she did Control!!..would love to see them collaborate again

This is one of her best albums. I love her soft angelic voice over the bass heavy beats. It was the perfect combination. I think it didn't do as well as it should have coming off of the back of the super bowl and the Demeter Joe album which is also one of my favorites
Certainly 1 of her bests. Surprised this isn’t seen as a masterpiece. A sneaky, unconsidered masterpiece. Maybe bc it’s so lighthearted but it’s composed so perfectly. This is the album u can’t stop dancing 2. Don’t devalue art just bc it’s not trying 2 say smth heavy. This is definitely perfect work.

(As a kid growing up, the J5 was a big part of my life as well)._

Loved "Take Care" from this album. The title is kinda misleading, I expected a revival of the Flyte Tyme Minneapolis sound of "Control". Involving Jermaine Dupri is not a good idea.
What song were they working on in the studio?
20 yo was "alright" but not as successful as Control, Rhythm Nation, Janet. or Velvet Rope even All For You.
Jimmy and Terry tried their best on the album but JD couldn't, it really disappointed me that that was gonna be the final project for Virgin.

I love Janet have all her albums but this is a disappointment for me. There are few good tracks yes but most are similar sounding and even the song titles are similar e.g alot of me me me. Tks goodness Jermaine's gone. Waiting for Black Diamond 🙏🖤

I originally brought this and thought it ok. I did have some favorite cuts. Love to Love, This Body, call on me, and show me. But this was not a solid effort.
I love Janet, but this album is her worst, if you will. The first single and video just irrelevant. Enjoy is the song on this album. So excited is good. in its video, I guess one of these white dancers appears. Super 🔥!
