Check out Northwest Passage, all the way through the outro to get the story behind this song's outro. Also, it's just a great song. Other good acoustic songs by him? Scarborough Fair, Loch Lomond, The Bard's Song. He can do it all!

So bloody good. This version is clearly Disturbed’s version so some credit goes to him for developing this! Ironically another metal singer! I’m not sure which I prefer but I think Disturbed wins by a hair. But yes Dan is the man, his voice has amazing tone and range. He’s not bad to look at either 😆
Disturbed was one of my fav versions until I heard Dan's. They're so similar but there's a level of production on the Disturbed version that is almost too clean, whereas Dan's feels a little more..."crunchy". Disturbed's live version is hella fire. If you go back to Dan's original recoding of this from like 6-7 years ago you can tell how much his voice has improved; I would love to hear him do a current version today. Either way, Dan or Disturbed, I gotta love them both!

I have to give credit to disturbed (one BILLION views) for being the first to sing this song in this fashion, but I also have to say that Dan sings it even a bit better. I love both versions! Is there anybody that can sing it better yet? I have serious doubts.....
I agree that it is totally the disturbed version, which is 100% why I didn't dwell on the arrangement at all during the reaction. However vocally... I think there is really only a handful of male vocalists that could execute this!!!!

I'm not throwing shade on him, it's a great vocal. But it's a near direct cover of Draiman's version. Again, amazing vocals regardless
