If the DL hits a crouching target, the last hit frame connects, thus you are able to link 4 frame move like cr.lp. Standing target gets hit with the first active frame thus you cannot link.

And Fujimura is absolutely killing it right now and he got number 1 to so just lots of solid akumas rn
Every video with a known player picking Akuma says he's number 1, you can chill.
Bonchan is #1 currently. Since Akuma is so popular the difference between #1 and #5 is less than 30 MR so one ranked match can change the rankings.
