Two gifted songwriters have joined forces for a collaborative project and it is a perfect representation of their collective talents. Courtney Barnett and Kurt Vile make their live radio debut on Morning Becomes Eclectic just a few days before the release of their album Lotta Sea Lice.

What a disarmingly charming, cheeky, and wholesome song performed by one of the best of duos. Performing this song must be enjoyable for the two of them, especially at 3:02. Courtney even started smiling in anticipation of that "woohoo" moment. Thank you KCRW for this upload!

@@nathanotto2820 I heard Kurt Vile play in Central Park NYC last summer and he was great! So I was planning to see him in NYC in April but then this COVID-19 lockdown happened!

This collaboration is fun, but I think I prefer these two great artists on their own doing their own things. They have some similarities in style, but considerable differences too. I like the rawness of Courtney's original 3 pc band too.
Kurt is an harmonica genius.

I love the album and think they are just great together. That said, this is a novelty song. It is still affecting, humorous and enjoyable, but I don't think it will age as well as the rest of the album.
Personally, this is my favorite song on the album, still. Probably my most played song of 2018
