Let no-one question Filian's credentials as a gamer. The difference between a gamer and everyone else is the commitment and she's finishing this game XD
To be fair i trolled someone in pvp saying whoever hits their opponent likes My Hero Academia... they kept approaching so I added "They like the Gay Porno version of Hy Hero Academia" to be fair they stopped just shy of hitting me and got hurt by a double ruptured flask then nuked by Noble's presences... so it works for players but not PVE
Way too easy in my opinion, attack pool is way too shallow, I got him in less than ten tries with my default mediocre build. Renalla, on the other hand, seems much more balanced to me.
@@radiance1112 tbf when I refight him I'll probably stay on the lower end of Scadu blessing as well. Messmer has a similar problem to Morgott but maybe not as bad. He's an awesome fight but many go into the fight slightly too strong. In ER saying a boss is too hard or too easy is difficult to say because the difficulty depends on the player.
@@revengance4149 got to him super early, but power stance ice infused bandits curved sword jump atk build did mega dmg to him, and to make up for the squishiness of light rolls i used dragoncrest and flamedrake.
I actually have both my flasks on the binds. Left blue right red after I saw chasethebro use it like that. Honestly it's super surprising how good it is once you get it in your muscle memory since your guaranteed to heal with 2 buttons. Def a preference thing tho!
Nah, it's better that way. Will help you actually only heal on openings and not react heal. With the recovery times bosses have, react chug will only make you waste a flask.
I have only red equipped and blues on sub right. I hate having to scroll so that way I have dedicated buttons for each. This is also why I almost never play spell caster, or if I do I only have 1-2 spells only
Because it means its always easily accessible, instead of having to go through a potentially full tool bar just to get to one item to heal you can hold one button then press another. Those extra seconds of spamming the swap button to then heal may get you killed. While with the quickbar you can ALWAYS access it the same amount of time regardless of how many consumables/tools you have, just a matter of reliability.
It's way better. You press them simultaneously, and there's no need to cycle through your items or keep them low in number to help find the flasks quicker.
at death 159 she played almost the whole match without getting hit, and then just got shredded in the final 10 seconds, it was like it wasn't even the same person playing lmao
It’s a common thing for souls games. After trying for any amount of time, the boss fight just “clicks” for you and then it becomes a dodge > attack > repeat montage.
First time I fought him it was with the Dragon Spells. Felt like an anime fight. Almost beat him, but the last hit got him while he was in snake form and he couldn’t die until he turned back, so I lost.
I did use summon, but I also beat Messmer first try. I went in with only 6 flasks and 2 magic flasks, fully expecting Messmer to wreck my shit. Bc I didn’t rest at the grace. So imagine my surprise when I manage to beat him first try. The big snakes in phase 2 are quite easy to dodge if you just don’t panic roll too early. And then Messmer gives a big damage window when his final snake bite misses. I managed to land both hits of Carian Sovereignty on him right at the very end to finish him off. Super impractical ash of war for boss fights bc you can be knocked out of it and it takes forever to charge. Even little guys can knock you out of it. But DAMN the damage is good! And it feels super satisfying to kill a boss with your strongest attack. Especially on your first try. Similar thing happened with Bayle actually. I did go in full-healed for that though. Igon got the final hit on him right AFTER I somehow landed 1 hit of Carian Sovereignty. I got knocked down and Bayle was about to mess me up when Igon shot him in the face and took out the last tiny bit of Bayle’s HP. Igon MVP.
Yeah this is cool, but did you know that those stripped of the grace of gold shall all meet death, in the embrace of Messmer's flame?
i know that i do, but wouldst thou truly lordship sanction in one so bereft of light?
Ok but soon bro, wilt thou be taken in the jaws, of the abyssal serpent, shorn of light.
very nice, but couldst thou embrace thine oblivion just as I, oh lifeless creature? pretty please?
But did *you* know she is Malenia, Blade of Miquella?
"Hit me if you're gay" almost worked
**Proceeds to hit her 5k times**
Let no-one question Filian's credentials as a gamer. The difference between a gamer and everyone else is the commitment and she's finishing this game XD
Focus and finesse aren’t words typically associated with Filian
"Hit me you're gay"
As if that'll stop the boss, Filian...
"Does anyone know if he has Fire damage?"
Wh--OF COURSE HE DOES
I like how you edited your comment just to express your shock that she didn’t think they did fire damage
To be fair i trolled someone in pvp saying whoever hits their opponent likes My Hero Academia... they kept approaching so I added "They like the Gay Porno version of Hy Hero Academia" to be fair they stopped just shy of hitting me and got hurt by a double ruptured flask then nuked by Noble's presences... so it works for players but not PVE
so much better when you realize this was release day so everyone was experiencing this for the first time.
Messmer was somehow really easy for me, I killed him with my default mediocre build in less than ten tries. Only fought his second phase once
@@radiance1112 what kinda weapon were you using?
"LET ME HEAL" is the summary of most DLC boss fights
“The embrace of Messmer’s flame”
“Does anybody know if he does fire damage?”
Oh lightless creature. Embrace thine oblivion as shall i.
Reaching Messmer without double digit scadush sounds painful let alone beating him
probably best fight in the game ngl
dancing lion, Messmer, final boss, Midra, rellana are all great bosses

I'm still pissed I never thought to use ice for this fight 💀
I summoned a lady with forst backhands and my rivers of blood. Just frost bleed burn repeat
Filian: Guys this boss looks hard
Me: Thank You Captain Obvious 😅
7:45 filian: Messmer is hot.
2nd phase Messmer: I'm SNAKLY hot now
Daaaaamn audio on Messmer's attacks is deep fried af for some reason
"He has a lot of attacks but nothing seems crazy"
She would eat ghose words.
So I have only seen clips but Filian seems to have great comedic timing.
Filian is a beast at these games
fililan's binds are insane, heal on the sub pouch is mad

@boitaho honestly I never thought of this but your 100% right! That's a really good thing it improves upon you when done for a decent amount of time

I have a mouse that has a left and right button on the scroll wheel so I also bind the heals in the sub pouch and it is a game changer
Holy, I didn’t know filian was such a gamer!
Not casual, but real deal soulsborne…this isn’t for the faint of heart
Its fukin criminal that we cant refight the bosses at the roundtable or something. I had so much fun fighting messmer i wanna do it again lol
“Theater kid but epic” 😂
found him super early on, he was the 4th boss i fought in dlc. The fight was so sick i didn't leave till i beat him even tho i was way to early
Me with my paper build watching this. Alright. Time to die for the 9999th time😂
Messmer with that e-boy build.💀 Congrats to Frank for proving she's the stronger e-boy.
What kind of psychopath puts their Flasks in the quick menu where they have to press two keys to use?
