Great Video. one of your older videos sparked my return to NIOH2 last Sept and Today I just finished the 30th Floor of Depth of underworld and i can rest my controller in peace now :) .I used mainly Tonfa, Dual Sword and Sword in my entire run ( 2nd run)
the levels from 21-30 sometimes aren't fair , on one occasion I had to face Eboshi , Tsuchigumo and Otakemaru , on another level i had to face Ancient Nyotengu , Lightning Gods of Yomi and Ren Habayusa.
Oyamatsumi build is great if you want good HP , Omoikane's build if you are dealing with both Justu
one sidenote , try to keep an eye your weapon damage output as one thing i noticed in most of my fights in both underworld and depth of underworld once i entered the boss fight i got my weapon damage output reduced . I had Tonfa with 6121 . however when i entered the boss fight , i see it as 5700. am not sure if this happens to you as well.

So glad I did, and because of this, I’ve decided to pick up the game once again (after leaving for 3-4 years and then returning). Really glad there’s such a video guide for the underworld / depths!

Thanks so much!! Im actually thinking of switching to izanagi + oyamatsumi after watching ur video of comparing corruption vs purity! I think izanagi purity maybe better overall as i can get 30% purity accumulation and damage vs purified enemies from the grace alone?
@NewbieGamerz884 corruption has a higher damage output but purity in my opinion has much better utility so they both have pros and cons but yes iza is much easier to set up purely because you have many ways to inflict purity
I see! But ive got all the good stuff needed for the corruption build, and gotta do farming for the weapons if i were to change to izanagi from magatsuhi.

Much appreciated 🙏🏼! And no haven’t but it’s a cut a dry explanation…bladed weapons such as sword, odachi, claws etc they do more melee damage/health damage and blunt weapons, tonfa, fists, hammer, splitstaff they do more ki damage
Thanks for a good review. There are some omissions here though:
Scrolls of the Damned should have been mentioned here. Especially while explaining purple enemies. They drop it a lot.
Upgrading blessings using lapis lazula is important for depths. Attack blessing is the most important overall. Defence is not much except for full depths specific tank builds. Also healing blessing is important for Grace of Oyamatsumi depth 6+ specific gracem. Grace of Oyamatsumi should have been explained in detail since all depths specific builds use it for not getting one shotted.

Another thing is graces with Empowered Onmyo. Tsukiyomi and Onymyo Austerity+ are good ass graces. I got a OP Tanky Magic build if anyone wants to know what it is.

Nice video King. I am on stage 6 and i was wandering where where the 3 boss fights are , so i guess this settles it. Quick question since the topic is not that big to get it's own video, what is "Scroll transferase"?
Much appreciated! And Scroll transference works to raise the recommended mission levels for only scrolls of the same type to a max recommended mission level allowed for the type. So scrolls of the Nioh for scrolls of the Nioh and so on
Boss 1-5 change daily, boss 6-30 change everytime you enter the depths. If you find an impossible boss combo on the late stages, you can wait til the next day at the crucible shrine, the combo will most likely change
im on ps5 my i'd is carlodgior and i'm farming accessories and in can't get it dephs of underworld i need the 20% corrupted damage 20 damage on enemy without ki and sloth on magic hit
That’s completely RNG based you have to keep farming the specific stage for what ever Grace you’re trying to get…the best way to get accessories to drop is by tempering lucky drop accessory on the accessory you want to use and just replaying stages over and over until they drop with the rolls you want

😂😂😂 stages 1-10 are easy for my build
If you thinking “seems I can try it” it just “seems” 😂
On floor 11 my 5 tries was not longer than 20 seconds because boss just did one-shot me with any random move 😢😂
😂 my build is completely maxed that’s why it seem so easy lol…if it were floor 26-30 it would’ve looked a lot tougher
