FYI, a defamation lawsuit can potentially be based on leaving out context or purposefully omitting important information. I don’t want to speak for them, but it’s of my understanding that they both mutually agreed to keep working on it, which was obvious. Yet another incorrect assumption. Further, I have no motivation. I simply understand the situation more so than most, simple as that.
Because he asked them too when provided that information multiple times. I've seen other people videos of B rogue built where his car was at the shop and they listed the multitude of hurdles they had to go through to get the car running when they advised against it.

The car being "junk" doesn't mean that he deserves this. The company decided to undertake this car and should be able to assure quality on things like this especially because of the money put in. And if they felt they couldn't do it they should have been honest with the Stradman and done something to make it right like strip it back to og and refund him or something. You can't deny that they had to know something about how it looked. This doesn't look like something done by a transport pulling it off and joyriding, like we have sometimes heard.
As someone who studies law yes it could be formed into a defamation case worth much much more than $52,000 but keep in mind they did also offer to rebuild the engine for TheStradman and before TheStradman recieved the vehicle he made the video of him running it on the airstrip with what looked like no issues but then he receives it and it doesn’t run longer than a few seconds means the tuners (B-rogue Built) would be at fault for property damage, the claim about no shops working on the type of car TheStradman owns would not follow through into the case because B-rogue Built said they’d be willing to take on the challenge, in the end i believe B-rogue Built will be found liable for damages and lose the case.

And if my customers pays any amount of money, they expect a certain quality of work to be completed, to a high standard

I think it’s definitely gonna be a big legal battle. I guess to your points about people saying these gallardo’s shouldn’t be getting modified like this, I think James mentioned in his video that they should’ve just been upfront and honest about potentially not being able to properly modify the car. And I don’t think it’s a big legal point, rather just a valid point of like why not be upfront about having reservations regarding completing the build. Then maybe it wouldn’t have led to this situation.
I also think while B-Rogue will be able to sue for all the things you guys mentioned, he will probably also go after them for loss of business by not having the car + whatever else he will try based off his video. But then again, it’s gonna be a pretty complex case. Interested to see how it plays out.
I have a couple buddies that are litigators, and they mentioned that this is a very stupid thing to do. I’m not a lawyer, they are, but I’ve been in business situations like this and it rarely goes well for the people that sound off, especially at this scale. His fan base is also making it worse for him.

- guys got tired of working on the car and found the customer annoying, but because he seemed like a walkover they just didn't give a shit
- someone, from the shop, or transport company or whatever.... decided to take the car for a pretty "aggressive" test drive, broke it, tried to cover it up quickly, like quick oil change, etc.... and hoped for the best....

FYI, $52,000 is more than likely a drop in the bucket for the amount of work that went into the car. Also, there’s a lot of context that was left out which renders a situation misleading, which is then consider defamation.

3 years I believe. Also, as mentioned in a previous comment, this wasn’t a situation where B-rogue was holding the car hostage. He could have taken it back whenever he wanted.

It’s not exactly as straightforward as you think it might be. I’ve been involved in multiple lawsuits and it’s rarely as simple as you might think.
So because you have a car built by them that works you automatically assume James is lying, yeah because that makes sense. Wow you showed a video of it running for a few minutes putting it in a trailer and James driving it down a runway shortly after the work was completed. B Rouge should know where James lives and know the car will need to be retuned to work properly in Utah if that's the case. Coming from someone with 20k subscribers trying to call out a guy with 4 million subscribers for calling out a shop that destroyed his car and took over 4 years to simply twin turbo a Gallardo and even blew his original motor looks super shady on you and seems like you're trying to boost your subs

The fact of the matter they're going to lose a shitload of business no matter how you slice it the damage has been done the only avenue is take their chances in court and if they lose their be paying the total Court fee.

The first engine rebuild they couldn’t find a shop to resleeve the block without a legal contract releasing liability. That takes a long time to sort out. These 14 year olds don’t know shit.

Defamation is a false statement of fact that harms another's reputation. After 3 years, a clearly broken vehicle on arrival, and failure to take responsibility after receiving payment, I don't think Stradman has much to concern about. B-Rogue should have gone out of their way to make it right. Exactly what all of us expect from customer service. Even more so when you're dealing with a known car personality with millions of subscribers.

@@LamboLapdog My opinion is based on one simple fact: The car was sent back to the owner with the work completed. It arrived leaking oil, not running properly and other issues. Any reasonable person would send back uncooked food at a restaurant and expect the issue to be corrected. Stradman had a reasonable expectation that the car would be in working order as described. It was not.

Out of the 1000s of cars i worked on being and being a ase master mechanic i would never have let a car go out the door knowingly it had a broken ebrake cable and being a manual of all things just to name 1 thing from his video lol ... For BRB didnt have to take the job and should have known better. To your point no one touches them because engine is not mod friendly. BRB also shouldnt have delivered a car in that condition that was incomplete. Stradman paid as agreed and was leniant in with BRB and only wants what he paid for. Stradman posted his side of the story and didn't tell anyone to review blast BRB so as long as Strads comments are factual and true he is in the clear.

B Rouge made the mistake of knowing about the problems the 5L gallardos have and still saying yes they wanted the publicity and the headlines that strandman brings if they werent 100% confident they shouldnt have touched it in my opinion they are in the wrong they got paid and they didnt deliver that's the end of it and they had all the time in the world he even gave them 3-4 months to make it right and they did nothing that video would've never been made if they stood by their product and made him whole

You gentlemen bring up some valid points to B-Rogue’s defense. From what I’ve seen online, there were decisions made on both sides that probably shouldn’t have been made. Strad has a semi rare Gallardo spec, probably shouldn’t have touched it. What he should’ve done was go with a nicely spec’ed 5.2, 2016-2018 and called it a day. To B-Rogue, you guys probably bit off a bit more than you could chew. However, they probably did a fair amount of solid work to the car. I’m assuming the reason the car was sent back in the condition Strad reported was because both parties were fed up. Brandon probably, after a lot of unreported back and forth, had it with Strad and just sent him the car back after James’ complaints. All of you Strad ‘fanboys’ love him because he’s a likable guy. Heck, I’ve been a subscriber since he’s had around 40,000 subs. That doesn’t mean he’s not an ass to deal with off camera. He obviously had issues with his old camera guy, Luke Terry as well, who is also a likable dude. All I’m saying is that, just like you guys said, there’s way more than meets the eye to this story. Yes, it’s easy to blame Brandon for all of these issues but would he really have done all of this just to be a jerk? I think not. Also, where is that video about you guys talking about Sheepey’s build at B-Rouge? Sounds interesting.
