your crazy bro snes is good for the first level but trust me genesis resolution really helps to see judge dredds world much better! i,ve played it to the end hard game!
@@bakih20 What is it about the Sega version that looks better in your opinion? From the footage it would appear the SNES version looks better, with more colours and added effects like rain, the coloured flashing signs, and colour gradients in the background and so on. Are you playing on an old TV where the SNES version is stretched, or are you playing on a modern display and with the ability to view the SNES version in pixel perfect mode?
I think the gloominess of the Sega version adds to its appeal. I love the increased gun speed and sound. The game seems smoother overall, and I like that they fit more on the screen. I never seem to run out of bombs on this version. Shame to miss the rain though. I cant tell which I like best, I should say SNES, but Sega keeps pulling me back in.
No need to complete it. Just play the first 2 levels and you will see the problems. On Genesis, you fight with the controller to go down a ladder, not on Snes. The same to arrest people: you have to push the button multiple times, on Snes, one time is enough... @@bakih20
@@predaking2wings they move faster in the genesis, including the Dark Judges. However, I like the Snes because the music sounds better IMO and that each boss has their own music, and the fact they Chopper appears in the snes game.
The genesis version feels harder because the controls are worse... The jumping is a bit off so you can't do a proper jump kick or properly crawl in certain areas. The SNES version has better controls, better graphics, better sound and more fluid gameplay.
@@stephenmalovski313 Yeah, overall I think the SNES version is better, although the gun sounds are definitely louder on the Genesis and don't get lost in the sound of music, which is nice. I wish someone had turned up the gun sounds just little more on SNES. Still though, like I said, I think the SNES wins overall with nicer graphics that use more colours, little details like the added rain and the flashing signs in that first level, nicer music, and possibly even more fluid controls but certainly better control options since you can perform the likes of melee attacks and cycle back and forth through weapons at will, unlike on Genesis where there's not enough buttons unless you use the 6-button controller that costs extra just to won. SNES wins this one.

I think you are 100% right after playing dredd vs death i might revisit this
Played it to the end? Hopefully not using cheats. That game is haaaaarrd i tell u, even by todays standards. Its freaken hard.
@@bakih20 So, are you still of the opinion the SNES version is all round better or not?
@@inceptional i would say so just cause the controls felt so much cleaner in SNES. Sega def looks miles better though
