Being a 12th student I would suggest you to don't go for weigtage bcz u all have enough time to study every chapter giving it equal importance. How to read ncert? Then first do your class notes or your notes made from yt videos and then do the questions from ncert book. If u have time then I guess read the book bcz I didn't felt much need of the ncert during my 11th since everything was covered in class notes

When I solve a question from a particular chapter, I sometimes ignore or dont realise that concepts from other chapters are also included. Will revising old topics more frequently work so that they are fresh in your mind?[I currently revise non formula content once a month as I have entered 11th just a few months back.] many students face this problem will be of great help to all of us
