Yall should really check out Casual Geographic aka Hood Nature's videos. He's real informed about wildlife and always works in hilarious punchlines in between the facts. Heavy recommend.

I work at a Nature Educational Center/Wetlands/Marsh and I’m around alligators on a daily basis (as well as snakes, wild boars, occasional bobcats etc) …definitely had my share of sketchy moments lol

Re: Yellowstone wolves. There's a fascinating study about how the reintroduction of natural wolf populations into Yellowstone had many expected and unexpected effects on the ecosystem, one of the most surprising being that it changed the course of rivers. You might well ask how a wolf does that (primitive bone dams?). The answer is that wolves prey on deer, and reduce their population. Reduced deer populations don't forage as intensively, and many small saplings that would otherwise have been eaten, survive. These saplings create extensive root systems that hold soil in place. Soil held in place changes the rates of erosion that are constantly altering the course of rivers as they flow. As such, wolves alter the course of rivers.
Nature is unfathomably complex. It's a little concerning that we keep hacking at the web of life that supports us without even bothering to see what we're destroying. One day, and likely much sooner than anyone guesses, the strand we cut will be the last one holding us up, and we probably won't even know until we're well into free-fall. System collapses tend to cascade at a terrifying pace.
3:26 That shark could definitely have gotten that fisher if it had wanted to. It was probably just pursuing the hooked fish, as a lot of sharks have realized that fishers produce fish who are snagged and can't swim away from an approaching shark. Sharks in general, though, simply don't like to eat people. We're not nearly dense enough, in terms of calories provided. 99% of so-called "shark attacks" are just sharks trying to figure out what a person is. Unfortunately, like human babies, they tend to do this by putting the object in question into their mouths. Not their fault we're so fragile.
3:41 That woman is way, way, way too close to that gator. Those things are ungodly fast.
5:09 Moose are terrifyingly large and fast, particularly in deep snow, but the deadliest thing about them is the height their long legs give to their massive bodies. If you hit a deer in your car, the thing's probably going to mess up your hood. If you hit a moose, your hood will hit its legs, and the main bulk of its torso will come crashing into your passenger compartment. It's kinda like those scenes in movies where a car drives under a truck and the cargo bed peels-off the car's roof like the skin of an orange, along with the heads of any car-riders who forget to duck.

If your arguing against the reintroduction to wolves to Yellowstone I strongly suggest you actually do reaserch because, after they were fully killed off there the ecosystem went out of control thus they were eventually reintroduced to balance it again.

Yall right tho some people just is go out they way to be in trouble and then when they finally get in the trouble they wanted then they ask I did I get in this situation like that girl who keeps going over that poor lions fence at the zoo I can't remember her name but that was dumb because when the thing hurt you or kill you then they will kill it and she didn't do it ones she did it twice talking about I miss you and throwing money on it and all kinds of things

I love snakes. I have a king snake and can’t h almost every snake I find. I say almost because I don’t mess with venomous snakes. I’ve been bit by many snakes. Most constrictors have tiny backward facing teeth, so you don’t even really get hurt unless you jerk away. I have never been bit by a king, rat, milk or corn snake. You can basically just walk up to one and pick it up. The idea of holding a glass of water for a spitting cobra is insanity. Just, why!?

If you put a gun to my head and made me, I legit would cheerfully take being on top of the elephant with a pissed off big cat wanting a snack than ever deal with a moose. For one thing, those tigers ARE carnivores. Not their fault I'm made of tasty tasty protein and hell, I'm on top of an elephant, I have a shot at getting clear. Moose? No ma'am. There is something extra disrespectful about an flipping ~herbivore~ trying to punch my ticket! And they are just MEAN. And the size... I'm tall. 6'2. Brother? 6'5. Dad? 6'4. An uncle passed 7'2. And still look like toddlers when charged into a house because a moose decided the yard belonged to them. (Not that I was gonna argue, momma didn't raise an idiot!) Tiger, if you gotta (although I would hope like hell to never have it happen) guns will level the field if being attacked. Unless you hit one or two places on a moose, it can send you special delivery to heaven even shot several times. You are essentially dealing with a combo of a great white shark, polar bear and crackhead who doesn't even have the decency to want to eat you but is just in a mood. And then they will PEE on you just to add the ultimate screw you to your funeral parlor!

*Kidd and Cee Reacts* ~Yeah, you do make a fair point... That person should've given water to a _White_ Cobra instead. 😝
Genuinely though, friends. That *_ain't_*_ the first_ snake to be given water - some snakes and Other animals _(that USUALLY DON'T WANT trouble with us)_ actually confront people for some _(usually temporary)_ assistance.
Obviously it's not greatly common, _but hey,_ neither is Human-Society making *calm, efficient and/or collaborative decisions* for the future, 🤷‍♂️😅.
Love your vids. Hope you both are having a decent 2022, thus far. 🙂🙏
