Loveland Opening Day 2018-2019 Ski Colorado 10/20/2018

Opening day for the 2018-2019 ski season at Loveland Ski Area in Colorado. The snowmaking team is working right up to the last minute to lay down a lovely coat of white. Chet's Dream is the new lift replacing old No. 1. It's named in honor of Chet Upham, who was a long-time owner of the ski area. You hardly have time to sit down before you are at the top of the lift. It's quite a welcome change. It's a beautiful bluebird day in Colorado and the mountains are looking lovely.

I have NEVER gone skiing before (or dealt with snow) and will be going here in 2 wks. I am excited yet nervous. The scenery looks gorgeous. Wish me luck!
