Here's some tips that will help with Skull Cavern. 1: Leave unnecessary items at home. If you die in Skull Cavern, you risk losing items, some of which cannot be recovered. It will also give you more inventory space for items that drop while exploring. The ONLY things you should bring into Skull Cavern are: your sword, pickaxe, hoe, bombs, a few staircases, and some food/Life Elixirs. Everything else you should leave in a chest in your Farmhouse. 2: Get to Skull Cavern as early as possible. The bus to the desert is available at 10:00 am, so you should have all your farm activities done before then. You can use a Warp Totem to get to the desert even earlier. You may have to ignore your animals and crops for the day to save time, which is okay, it will not hurt them. 3. Bring LOTS of Bombs. Like, well over 100. Use Bombs to clear out most of the rocks; the pickaxe is just too slow and should only be used on individual rocks the bombs didn't get. You are making enough gold on the farm now that you can just buy the Iron Ore and Coal from Clint. 4. Use the Hoe to dig up exposed dirt spots. This applies to the Mines as well. This is how you get several artifacts, including the Dwarf Scroll you are missing. The goal of Skull Cavern is to get through the early floors as fast as possible. As you go deeper, the chance for iridium veins to appear increases, and the number of iridium veins that can spawn also increases. As you are clearing rocks, jump into any holes that appear to skip multiple levels, and use a ladder only if no holes spawned. The staircases are also great to skip levels that waste time, like the "infested" levels. I hope this helps :)
Gab, I hate being one of those fans that overshares, but I wanted you to know how important your channel is to me. I was diagnosed with terminal cancer a while back, and it's so nice to watch your videos and find some peace for a few hours. This series in particular has been a nice pocket of peace and tranquility, and for that I sincerely thank you.
If you want to keep growing Starfruit, it is better to buy a bunch of seeds from the Desert. A single seed costs 400, but a regular Starfruit wine sells for over 3k, with over 6k for a purple star wine, so you are throwing away several thousand every time you turn the fruit into a seed...
But the seed maker has an average return of 2x, meaning if you start with 20 starfruit seeds, then keep half the fruit for seeds, and turn half the fruit into wine, you can keep planting crops of 20, indefinitely for free.
@@Br0nto5aurus not exactly free if it could have been turned into wine and sold for 3k. 3k minus the 400 investment in the next seed is 2,600 g that she could have instead of a seed.
There is a limit to how much wine you can make and process at a time though. Even if you keep some in reserve to switch out when your cellar becomes empty, you're likely to out grow your winery.

But then again, why does no one lock their doors? The video game logic in Stardew is one of my favorites lol. The progress you've made in this game is incredible. Its been so hard to mention some spoilers for later / late game content but I am so excited for the future years of this farm! Even when you stop this series, I hope you continue to play this game and possibly try out other layouts. It was really nice to watch this at work today.
Please don't stop these stardew videos, I love them! Since you're making a decent amount of money in the game, you should craft a bunch of bombs, buy stacks of stone at robin's to make stairs and save a bunch of cheese to go to skull cavern on a good luck day and go down as many levels as you can and get a ton of iridium ores, just a tip.
If you want to make a large amount of money at the end of a season plant an entire field of cauliflower, melons, or pumpkins respectively. You will make 100,000+ at the end by doing that instead of wasting time with random ones you don't really need anymore.
