no, His low notes start to be unstable when he goes over G2 / G # 2, he is a high tenor, a tenor can even sing lower, and do not say that he is a baritone
@@ntanzar911 he's not bad tho I didnt say he was that versatile with the low notes but he wasnt bad too considering the fact he's really good with high notes he's supposed not to be perfect with low notes what more can you expect of a person who went D8
@@awsafazmain2156 thanks, but I think that Dimash is good up to G # 2, and then there is a chest-fry and not stable notes, but for a high tenor this is very good
Dimash's low notes (F2-D3) pretty rich! , i mean he does that low notes with fullness as far as he can eventhough the notes almost hitting his edge of low range, we can see that in love of tired Swan 05:09 after the E2 he hit G#2with Breathy chest and that’s sound so control and in znay when he is hitting that breathy chest C#3 00:45 sound so easy for him than the full chest D3 04:01 in across endless Dimension. He project with really good actually he can do more lower notes with that breathy chest, but he mostly using full chest instead of that breathy voice even chest fry for making an dark and full instead of thin and bright voice with breathy chest voice . Wise choice! A lot of soprano, mezzo and tenor who can hit low notes but with breathy chest voice especially below B2 for better support no matter how thin is the voice. Dimash has his own option and that’s a wise one.:)!!
4:27 mistake here the lowest note here is F2 then goes up to B2 in only one second. the resonance he got on that F2 is why many people including experts say he’s naturally a baritone.
He's a spinto (counter) tenor. Spinto is a term in between dramatic and lyric where it has characteristics of both. Sometimes he goes low like a dramatic tenor and high like a lyric. Not a dramatic tenor because his voice has this brightness when speaking too which separates him from being a dramatic tenor so he's a spinto. Also, when a tenor goes incredibly low to the bas ranges like 1st octaves, it doesn't mean they're not a tenor. I, as a tenor (a dramatic-spinto myself) believe it or not can go to the 0th octave notes as well as hitting the 5th octave ones in full chest. So this doesn't make him a baritone. Not many people know and use the term 'spinto'. Baritenor is also a real term but they have a lower larynx position in general and I don't think that is the case with Dimash. Definitely not a baritone or a high baritone tho. Crazy to think that when he can effortlessly hit A4, A# 4, B4, C5, C# 5, D5 in full chest.
He is probably a low tenor. He can go down to C3 with full power and then a little lower with still some power but not as much. If he was a high tenor, he would not be going down to the C3 area with any power. Watch Ogni Pietra (Olimpico) to hear his powerful low 3rd octave notes that betray the possibility of him being a high tenor.
@@Ascension721 no they cant, they cant have that resonance down there for that you need long vocal cords which makes you a baritone. Short vocal cords (tenor) can only do so through vocal fry and growl and stuff like that, baritones like dimash can resonate down there like speech level singing.
@@hyacinthusargus1513 Nope, high bari. A quick Google search to verify my ear isn’t out to lunch uncovered this video: ruclips.net/video/ZT8ZzdcIgEo/видео.html
@@hyacinthusargus1513 isn't that why he trains 3 hours a day as he said in an interview? I'd say he's a baritone, tenor, alto and soprano pop and opera singer and occasionally a rapper, too.
