Man, this book is insane. People hype up this run so much and it looks great in this format. Picked up my first absolute recently and now I'm eying this one!
I am slowly working through vol 3.
I dig the new colouring to be honest.
The first half dozen issues of this volume are by far my favorite so far
One of my shames as a comic reader that I haven't read this yet. Need to get on that.
The artwork from these books are insane. The whole story seems really good. Also, can't wait for Whatnot Wednesday!
I wasnt sure about the story, but it had so many good reviews. Once I got the first book... wow, they are stunning. Finally have all three. I love the absolute format.

My favourite comic run. Wish I could read it for the first time again.
I just picked thus up and I don't mind the new coloring of the series, it's the story that matters

If they ever do an omnibus, I hope they put the DC Comics Presents issue between #42 and #43. ST's encounter with Superman is referenced later in the series, so it makes sense NOT to put it at the very end.

Great art! I have some of the earlier stories in TPB. I'm not familiar with these stories, but it looks great.

Woow ! I I read recently this run with the original colors and i'm kind of shocked (in a bad way) by this digital colors :/ It's like the drawings had lost its soul and authenticity
Nostalgia for the original coloring is OK, but the fact is that printing and paper limitation led to a lot of compromise back in the day.
- The horror content and the original grainy paper had a different vibe, for sure.
Can’t wait to read this, it’s on the shelf. Will have to wait to check out the review.

Yea this was a run that I always wanted to read but just never got to it, and now that I’m reading nearly entirely manga it looks like I’ll never get to it.

I’m a massive fan of Alan moores swamp thing and I collect absolutes, however the colouring on these are just awful, I was so excited to collect these but all three absolutes have the same terrible garish colours. I’ll stick with my trades.

I love this run and have the original issues. Must say I'm very disappointed by the recolouring in this Absolute Edition. It looks horrendous compared to the original colour work
I bought the absolute Vol. 1 on comixology a while ago (when comixology wasn't absolute trash) and man, after 40-ish pages I was done. It just didn't do it for me. Story was getting no where, so much text and dialogue and narration who again, imo, was boring as hell. It just didn't age well and that was pretty much the last swamp thing comic I have picked up before the latest green hell.
