Flambards Theme Park Vlog - FIRST EVER VISIT! Helston in Cornwall, July 28th 2021

- Join the family as we embark on our first amusement park trip of our 2021 Cornwall holiday, staying at the beautiful Crantock beach, We had a few activities planned and Flambards was the first, This is a Theme Park I've always wanted to visit and they have a good section of rides including a Superstar ride that you normally see on the travelling funfair circuit, A Huss Frisbee... my first ever plus the Hornet roller coaster, a log flume and much much more, The victorian walkthrough was also a highlight and a surprise in the detail.
This Cornish Theme Park is great, cheap and with a return in 7 days policy its a fantastic place to visit if on holiday in Cornwall.
Our trip was mostly good weather but a few heavy down pours did dampen our spirits slightly and the amount of people and slow through puts did mean we vacated the park early but we got on everything we wanted at least once, The SBF Visa drop tower was our personal ride of the park!
Flambards Theme Park is an amusement park on the southern outskirts of the town of Helston in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It was founded in 1976 as the Cornwall Aero Park by Douglas Kingsford Hale MBE.

You can tell they're having fun -- but your boy is at an age where parents are little more than embarrassment machines. Every parent deals with this. Clearly, your kids enjoy adventures with you. Secretly they think it's awesome you're a successful youtuber, I'm willing to bet.
Thing is, the amount of time your on camera, we only see a small portion of your day trip, you must have loads of time were the camera is turned off and you spend time with your family, your lad is at that age, he properly gets loads of comments from his m8s lol, saying his dad is famous 😉keep on blogging, take no notice what other people think, strange why they would watch something they feel uncomfortable watching 👍👊

Top vlog 👍🏻👍🏻 !! Funny when you said about The Hornet not being that thrilling and something you wouldn’t find at Thorpe Park lol Zierer only ever build 2 of that model coaster, the other one is at Parc Asterix in France

Glad you enjoyed Flambards. I can't believe how busy the ride quaues were I've never seen them that big. Flambards is my childhood park. I like Skyforce, Skyraker and Thunderbolt. Thunderbolt is a smart coloured superstar. The Victorian Village is my highlight of Flambards its so detailed and mind blowing. Its a shame you had a bad walk through of it but I'm glad you liked it. Hoping to head back to Flambards again soon?

Nice family vlog here Dave, that pasty looks yummy. These vlogs are the best just hit record and go with it just like Andy does so what you see is what you get. The hornet looked wicked fun, mind the whole of Flambards looks like a nice family theme park to head to. Maybe not just for the day but deffo a place to visit if your in the area for a few days. Hi Slothy, at the end of the vlog you mentioned a Matterhorn under cover . It’s a Superbob undercover in the dark called space race , now open for the 2022 season . Good ride. Doesn’t come close to New York New York though .

I feel like I'm repeating myself now but....... Another ride that used to be at Pleasure Island in Cleethorpes, you seem to find them all! Sky-Force used to be Pendulus! Fab to see it running again. Great Vlog as usual, I have no idea why you're getting haters I just don't understand it. Keep doing what you do!
Great family vlog and a new park for me as well. I've been to Cornwall before but never had time to go to flambards. I did however spend 30 minutes in a line for a fresh Cornish pasty and a cream tea. Need to get the priorities right haha #2Tokens
Home now but went into Newquay now before the drive and stocked up on pasty’s, cream tea in a box and Cornish larger … I’m going to miss this place so much

Don't know if you know about it but flambards has got rid of 4 rides the thunderbolt, hornet coaster, skyswinger and skyforce but the skyforce seems to be reponed

I live in Newquay I’ve been flambards a lot and I’ve been camel creek the beaches in Newquay are nice if it’s good weather and if u ever want to start I would go to Fistral or little Fistral

I went to flambards the Sunday after and it was not busy at all we got loads of rides done and could do them multiple times
I don't like pasties ether Libby, yuk! That coaster looked like fun, ideal for families. Love the Huss Frisbee, there was one that was resident in Germany for years that now travels to the big fairs in the UK like Nottingham Goose Fair. Those Frisbees are pretty scary and can create travel sickness in the strongest riders! There is a slot on the lower half of the central column that should have the "Huss" name plate on it but it's missing. Looks like an NA Superstar, nice colour as you say, hydraulics for the safety harnesses sound a bit dodgy! :/ I use to love drop towers, another ride I can't go on because of my back, there is a great one on Gt Yarmouth Please Beach called "Sky Drop" and made by Zamperla., you can see 20 miles from the top as Norfolk is so flat. That tower is great and it spins too, awesome! I love log flumes, not sure who made this one, logs look new. Love the Victorian village, I restore Victorian fireplaces and interior features, that flowery wallpaper as you go upstairs is made by William Morris, his green wallpapers had arsenic in them and the fumes use to made people very ill and sometimes die from the amount used to create the green pigment! that fireplace is a Carron hob grate made in Stirlingshire :) The Victorians invented net curtains to keep flies out as it was discovered they spread diseases. That's an American carousel aka Merry-go-Round, American ones go anticlockwise, British Gallopers go Clockwise ;) That's a lovely park, great vlog xx
