    Going to see Space Jam, and then back home to watch MJ being MJ live on TV that same night really was quite an experience

    Man look at His footwork on every shot. It still amazes me rewatching all of his highlights today. I was a 90s kid and was in awe every time he took the court. Just pure poetry in motion and getting the job done.
    Those 2nd 3-peat years were my favorite because he used his mind more than his body and his athleticism to carve up defenders and the defense. MJ is the GOAT! 🐐 🏀

    I don't know if a player will beat MJ one day, in terms of accomplishments, technical mastery with elegance and strength, determination to win, i have never seen an athlete dominate his discipline like MJ dominated basketball, even on a mental level he is the best and so is the marketing!!

      I think with the just the way the system is set up now, just instant gratification without having to accomplish anything I just dont see anyone else being able to elevate their game and compete at quite the same level as MJ. Everything is just too cushy now

    Glen Rice would average 35 in today's NBA, he was automatic anywhere on floor, Rice in college would practice jumpers in the dark on purpose.

    Jordan is not only a mid range king. He's the long range king! His jumpers were 16 to 20 feet ands just inside the 3 pt line half the time. Also he broke the nba finals 3 pt record in 92 with 3 three pointers in the first half at 60% from 3. Jordan can do EVERYTHING

    2nd 3Peat MJ was different. Took his time and killed you with those jumpers and obviously knew he had a great roster to help. Casual 38 ho hum headed for the playoffs.

    • @2KNOWtheLEDGE

      his rosters were always the same...pippen and a pf (rodman or grant) and random little catch and shoot guys that were way too smal and weak for defence like kerr, becheler and paxson. iso situation kerr buecheler and paxson are getting shoved. it was jordan creating the triple teams which they benefited from

      @@2KNOWtheLEDGE yes very similar in structure. 96+ I thought they were even deeper with Harper and Kukoc. I actually saw them live in 96 that D was insane. First 3PEAT seemed younger and hungrier. Loved Grant, he and Pippen really had arrived at that point.

      Yeah, must be real bad winning 10 scoring titles and having the highest ppg average in history with all that 'ISO'
      He should've just passed more. Because y'know, his ISO wasn't helping the Bulls win six rings or anything........

    • @Kment011
      @Kment011 2 месяца назад +5

      Basketball purist here, and Scottie pippen is the single most overrated player in the history of the NBA!
      Without Michael Jordan as a teammate and six rings because of him, him Scottie pippen would be largely forgotten like a laundry list of other players who were comparable to him skill wise.
      For example, Shawn Marion is actually ranked higher on the all-time player efficiency rating list than Pippen, as is Carlos boozer! 😂😂
      Where do you have the two of them on your all-time great list??!? If it wasn't for Jordan, Pippin would be in the same category as they are !

    • @robertwilson9528
      @robertwilson9528 2 месяца назад +3

      The same pippen that averaged a mind blowing 7ppg in his year he arrived?

    • @DefaultHeroEntertainment
      @DefaultHeroEntertainment 2 месяца назад

      @@Kment011 Comparing "efficiency rating' across eras is worthless when the league continues to castrate defenses and make it easier for offensive players to score. The easier it is to score the efficiency ratings will rise. The mastery of today's players are largely an illusion for marketing purposes.
