Hope you all enjoyed the first episode of my "Honest Review" series! I'm planning to release these on more of the featured servers within the next few months 🙂 *Disclaimer that I forgot to mention in the video:* While I have worked with Galaxite in the past on sponsored content, this video is completely my own and contains my own/my partners' opinions, and I did not work with the server in any way during the production of this video.
I actually thought that galaxite was a glitchy low budget server that was kinda good until i played it, now i see that it's a very good server with good visuals, custom models, a loyal player base, and some pretty awesome games :)
Same becuase it had so low amount of players I played it when people said it's playground is really good and everything was good not only playground I think it is good as 3k players of server amount
I think this was sponsored and has a little of a skewed perception in the video, but I agree it is fun and the fact that they put a lot of time and efforts into the server. :)
Great vid Carter, really in depth, and you only speak facts. Yeah galaxite is criminally underrated and they did nail it this season like every other season, it’s just the matter of time more people try it out!
Ideally I’d like to see Galaxite’s player count increase but it hasn’t hit 3K since season 3 Hopefully if they work on fixing some performance issues and maybe not shove too many micro transactions everywhere maybe one day it will actually increase again
I feel like it just needs some major push from like a big RUclipsr or something in order to give it a strong active player base. Something like this kinda happened in 2b2t when the camping rusher joined.
I do think that performance is a problem, you see people just not get affected by knockback at all and the fact that there's quite a few mobile players doesnt help As a console player things are not as bad. Hyper racers is laggy and chunks struggle to load but the other game modes aren't bad with lag and chunks. If you just want to hop on and have fun with friends then this server is perfect the lack of sweats makes it really fun. When I want to play survival games i instead hop on chronos because it's time gimmick is super unique and again the lack of sweats plus there is literally a massive ship you come from but since my switch can't handle the model I can see it's a reskinned elytra which made me thing "that is super clever" I do think that where ever you go there is microtransactions that literally everyone and their grandma ignores. It also bugs me that prop hunt and fill the gaps are only in the mini games menu and not the hub because they did make up 2/3 of the original games and honestly I really like those mini games The hub redesign I don't think fits the whole space thing going on It looks more like that ring zapper minigame that was on the Sonic mode on the hive Honestly with the lack of sweats and the refreshing game modes I thing that galaxite is underated and deserves more players. Bruh this is like a videos worth of text especially when basically no one is going to read all of this
Like other mobile players my only problem is that games like hyper racers is almost unplayable and to make it worse I have asia ping and there's no asia region. But other than that the games and the overall design of the server is so clean. Very hyped for the honest review series btw 👀
i live in one of the worst wifi among countries and they don't have a region for anywhere that's near me but i still get like 190ms so it's not that bad :)
Truthfully glad we got another honest review of Galaxite from you. I do appreciate it. Everything that the community and the staff do to make things as smooth as possible on Galaxite is extremely astonishing. Hope that these next couple years that Galaxite is up for continue to show a good rate in growth and I hope that more and more people check it out and stick around to see it in the future.
Great video! I’m a active player on the server and I love how this video went in depth, I truly do think Asia region could really change it as many of the player base right now is Asia and I think it could bring in a lot more players to play it but great video and I’m excited to see the future of the server :D
For playability, I think that servers should have a "low graphics mode" that turns all of the graphics to simpler models. For galaxite, the animations in the hub would be stagnant, the skins would all be normal steve type bodies, the cart designs will be more simple like boats with colors or something, ect
Great video! Galaxite has really improved a lot since the last time I've played it, and may I point out I also noticed that more than one server suffers from the fps problem when they're really just trying to make their server look better/bigger, which makes it somewhat unfriendly for mobile players and causes them to lose players. It's quite unfortunate. And like you said, it hasn't been around for quite a while, so it doesn't have that many popular youtubers playing on it to bring their fanbase to play in it, hence the low player count. I'd love to see more of these honest reviews on other great non featured servers as well, they have good points and aren't biased at all :)
I really enjoyed this video and I’m excited for the new series that you’re starting :) but I can’t help but think of when you were talking about having trouble with filling games, that for all the people who talk about how underrated Galaxite is in comment sections, it would have a lot more players than it has nowadays.

Galaxite was my first server to ever play and I still love the server! Even though its not the best it is a great server to start on. It is not full of sweats and is just a place to have fun.
I completely agree with this. I love Galaxite and think their games are very original, fun, and well designed. My only problem is the frame rate. I play on an Xbox One OG, and I get probably around 10-20 fps overall. I hope soon they can find some way to fix their fps drops, but for now I’ll just focus on playing Hive and CubeCraft. I hope the best for Galaxite and I do think they well succeed in the Minecraft Bedrock scene. And as you said, they’re very new, I’m sure lots if change will start to happen. Anyways, great video. Thoroughly enjoyed it, keep up the good work and have a nice day!
okay, the one way they could fix the Power Votes is if they made them work the same they do in another server that ISN'T featured, Hyperlands. basically with a certain level of rank you can choose which map you would like to play on, but you can't FORCE other people to play on the same map with you and the queueing works normally as it would with anyother server. you're just automatically redirected to any games that already have the map picked and my point from last time also still stands. the only real probable reason this server isn't my main is because it demands a lot from the device you're playing on. i doubt this would ever be changed though, because one of their main selling points to begin with is how unique they are from... well, just about every other server on Bedrock Edition. if they lowered the quality of all their cool graphics now just to cater to the users with weaker devices, they'd then risk losing an unpredictable margin of their current players.

In my opinion I think rush is my fav game mode. As a very impatient person corewars and chronos takes way too long for me what sucks tho is rush is one of the least played game modes

I mained galaxite for a week grinding rush (I got second on weekly lb) and ran into a stupid amount of hackers which is what I'm not used to since I main cc And yeah when I was grinding I didn't have to try 95% of the games as the community isn't sweaty.
my rating is 4.5 of 5. If more people played the game, and if it was less laggy, then this would become the best server (at least of the featured servers) on bedrock. I really enjoy galaxite and love playing it, only problem is sometimes I get impatient with the game
Potato can you review Hyperlands again? It's improved a lot since your review on it before and I would love for you to see what it's become now! (Only things bad about it is anticheat and some other bugs really)
Bro tbh i started playing galaxite from last few days and i love itits clean, easy to understand, and have many fun gamemodes the most favourite of me and my friend is tnt tag and we don't really like the fact that not much PPL play on it
yeah galaxite would be alot more popular if it was more established in the bedrock community (has been around longer), most people who play bedrock servers either are new and try it but the queues take to long so they leave or they just find other featured servers apfirst and have alot of fun on them so they dont even try it out.
I agree that it is a very good server but since I play in Asia and my device is old, I get like 300 ping for that server. I hope that there would be an Asia region.
I personally enjoy galaxite it is a very unique server and I enjoy playing it has pretty interesting game modes and is not too complicated to understand I personally say 8/10

In my opinion I think Galaxite is underatted but also not very much competition. Mineville,Pixel paradise, and Life Boat aren’t the that hard to make better servers than. I Don’t think it’s on the same level as Cubecraft and the Hive. It’s like right in the middle. Maybe I and other people would have a different opinion if it had more competition in a good or bad way.
Galaxite used to be laggy but nowadays its not that much laggy(its still laggy in hyper racers and chronos when playing but a little less(its atleast playable) than before). also u r lucky that u only had to wait for 3 mins i had to wait for10-15 mins and left cuz game didnt fill up

Definitely, Galaxite is my 3rd favorite Featured Server. You can see the efforts that were put into it. It definitely is underrated. The hub is also my favorite. And I really enjoy playing Rush man. 9/10. Also, Core Wars is so unique. So is Rush.
It’s funny bc there’s all these videos about galaxies being underrated with all these views, but then it still has only 2k players everyday so what’s thepoint
id say it deservers maybe 4-6 k players it could die out. and we will never be able to play again we need to keep it alive its better than life boat, pixel pardies and minevile
yeah ive played galaxite for a long time and well it might sound fun at the beggining but once u play it for a long time u can get boared of it and stop playing it but galaxite is adding updates a lot quicker now not gonna complain lol

I am a hyperlands main, but galaxite chronos is definitely one of, if not my favorite non-hyperlands game(when it queues).
This was my favourite server before I quit Bedrock and I'm being honest when I said I had an absolute blast with it
Used to be good but it sucks now, they removed pretty much every game and replaced it (including chronos which I loved

As a main cubecraft player, i dont play the server that much. Probably because im used to cubecrafts knockback.

galaxite is meh because it takes so long for me to even get a battle royal game, and by the time there are people I quit because no one joined
