After watching this, I just thought of: Traditional - “Let’s just save the ball” Acrobatic - “Let’s save the save the ball... but add more drama to it”
The way I see it, acrobatic saves were invented for mostly keepers who don't have the height and reach advantage, so they had to jump a lot to reach out for the shots, and their legs do more work. Traditional saves depends on contact with the ball and positioning, hence why most traditional saves are done with two hands.
Onnethox yeah, traditional keepers tend to stay closer to the center of the goal, they don’t launch themselves as much as the acrobatic keepers, who seem like they can almost go from one post to the other just by diving
Onnethox I’m 5’6” but I’m not very good at diving, so positioning is everything for me. If I don't get my angles covered I have to rely on my human reflexes and my fat little 14 y/o body to get in the way :) This is why I'm a sub goalie but enough about me
Acrobatic have better reflex and reactions, and they style are more beauty. Also they can save impossible shots, but almost all the time they send the ball to corner, even in easy balls, unnecessary sometimes, but still better
That's the downside I've seen as well for the acrobatic gk since they act heavily based off reaction save resulting in the ball being parried more often.
I'm a negative mix of traditional and acrobatic. I have the diving power of a traditional goalkeeper, and the handling power of an acrobatic one, so if I DO reach a slightly wide shot all I can do is parry it out. Even if it's right at me I need to knock it down before I can catch it. I've only played for 2 years but COME ON.
Acrobatic save looks more beautiful but tend to concede unecessary corner, even it's a clear easy ball that supposed to be caught. Traditional GKs is straightforward safe playing style, catch it if it's possible, parry it away if it's kinda tricky
Seems to me like acrobatic has a higher chance of reaching wider shots as they jump more and I’d think further but they are also more likely to spill the ball as most of their saves involve one hand or two palming it away. Traditional mostly uses two hands so are more likely to catch the ball but for wider shots or for reflex shots may not be as effective as they don’t jump as often or as far it seems. But I partly agree with someone who said acrobatic tends to be for smaller keepers and traditional for taller keepers so that may not mean as much as it sounds because of the natural reach of the taller keepers. But joe hart who is acrobatic is not small he’s 6’4 so questionable as how correct this is. I’d think in game acrobatic would be better at diving and reflexes while traditional have better handling and potentially positioning. In fut you could use the style things I forgot what they are called to either buff the other stats or buff the stronger stats. Eg donnaruma could have the cat style to make his diving and reflexes incredible or the wall to make his less than ideal handling better I believe
Each style has its own benefits. Me, a 6' tall, 200 lb guy, would have broken bones trying to do some of those acrobatic moves. On the other hand, my partner in crime, a 5' 7" 150 lb kid, would likely never have saved a single shot if he didn't rely on acrobatic saves and speed. It's like a semi truck trying to drift and a sports car trying to pull a trailer: possible, but terribly inefficient. Each style works better for each type of keeper.
There’s is no differnce to the style. The only alternation is the way it looks. It doesn’t make the goalkeeper any better that he can do more “acrobatic” saves. Still love the acrobatic animation tho ;)
What I’ve notice in FIFA is if you have a keeper 6’3 or taller, they are by far better even if their overall is shit. I experimented that with my Everton CM where most games I played with Pickford I conceded and average of 3 goals against me once I replaced him with Robles, robles saves lots of shots and concedes 1 occasionally two goals
there is almost no difference... A few saves had difference but because the ball didn't come in the same angle as the previous traditional one shown... Acrobatic goalkeepers tend to have better reflexes and diving saves, but less catching ability
Acrobatic gks are trying to save shots with one hand while traditional are always doing it with two hands. Furthermore, traditional gks never save shots with their legs and that's unrealistic.
Acrobatic GK's have a higher chance of letting in a sloppy goal from short distance (they're not very good at handling/catching the ball, they tend to just knock out even an easy shot rather than just catch the ball which provides a higher chance to let in a sloppy goal or cause an unlucky deflection or even can often lead to a second striking chance often at the open neat due to bounce off balls) but will be great at defending even impossible long range shots (due to flexibility mid air, traditional GK's seems more stiff, but again it affects the game just a little bit, because height of a GK and their statistics in game are far more crucial than this).
acrobatic goalkeepers best when used to saves short range shots or 1v1(they also get up quickly after they parry the ball away).meanwhile traditional goalkeepers usually best against mid and long range shots . but they bad at reflexes especially on 1v1 . the only thing that help the traditional goalkeepers on 1v1 is their size and height
Having played Acrobatic on FIFA for years due to thinking that it looks more "cool/fancy", it's pretty clear to say that Traditional is better. No nonsense/unnecessary saves that can rebound into an easy goal. Either catch the ball or parry it away safely. My goal is not to concede
Acrobatic ones have more reflexes and is more beatifull. Traditional in the other hand (literally lol) is more safe, having more handling with his hands, and for me, is more realistic
lel i am polish and idc if i made mistake in some comment so for what you write that you are argentine xd, peoples should dont care 2 that you made mistake
After watching this, I just thought of:
Traditional - “Let’s just save the ball”
Acrobatic - “Let’s save the save the ball... but add more drama to it”
lol
True xd
Emiel's Channel save the save lol
The acrobatic just like "make a save and make it looks cooler"
In Latin America they call it" echandose para la foto" "diving for the picture"
The way I see it, acrobatic saves were invented for mostly keepers who don't have the height and reach advantage, so they had to jump a lot to reach out for the shots, and their legs do more work. Traditional saves depends on contact with the ball and positioning, hence why most traditional saves are done with two hands.
Interesting, yeah acrobatic does seem to be focused on reflex saves.
If I don't get my angles covered I have to rely on my human reflexes and my fat little 14 y/o body to get in the way :) This is why I'm a sub goalie but enough about me
Oooh u a smart one
ok, you don't need to make those comments, he's just trying to be helpful to those who don't understand it.
Never seen Mignolet make so many saves
Wow 😂
Williams Gaming Who is he ?
Thomas FRANCOMME Liverpool's gk
Mignolet is sick on Fifa
TechandCraft Ah.... 😁
For as long as the Traditional/Acrobatic traits have been included In FIFA I think this is the first video over that lol. Interesting to see!
Thanks!
Acrobatic have better reflex and reactions, and they style are more beauty. Also they can save impossible shots, but almost all the time they send the ball to corner, even in easy balls, unnecessary sometimes, but still better

@@djsaidez271 hope you became better now :))
Acrobatic looks beautiful, but sometimes it's look over, too much and weird. Not necessary for easy ball.
Acrobatic save looks more beautiful but tend to concede unecessary corner, even it's a clear easy ball that supposed to be caught.
Traditional GKs is straightforward safe playing style, catch it if it's possible, parry it away if it's kinda tricky
Observations next level 😎

Onnethox
Like bro
the acrobatic goalkeepers make it so extra
The acrobatic is more beauty.
Armour it does look like they can reach farther.
No shit sherlock
Thinking about it no
But allows more rebounds.
Right
I love schmeichel and sommer
Just buy Begovic and your sorted.
Hahah yes! :D he’s so OP!
Onnethox ikr
Bosanac je to ;)
Buy Sergio Rico for your LaLiga squad, it's the same shit as Begovic
yeah cause all bplplayers are op compared to the rest. bailly valencia etc etc
The acrobatic goalkeepers just do some weird stuff sometimes
Nismo Garcia ...You unmasked me
wtf
acrobatic keepers just look like like they have a higher chance of getting injured.
Seems like it, but I’ve never seen a GK get injured in FIFA...ever. 😆
Onnethox true that. but they will if they get kicked on the head by mane.
Lincoln Smith 😂😂😂😂
I already saw an injured gk because my brother tried to score a goal with the keeper and I tackled him
S mi76 why not injure your brother instead
Seems to me like acrobatic has a higher chance of reaching wider shots as they jump more and I’d think further but they are also more likely to spill the ball as most of their saves involve one hand or two palming it away. Yes, I agree that traditional seem to have better positioning and diving/ handling, while acrobatic have better reflexes but parry the ball more.
De gea is tall too. He has acrobatic. he's a monster
thats a unique video bro... loved it 😍
Thanks man :)
So to answer your question, no is does not matter
Acrobatic makes them clumsy in a way.
I see that because their stats are more focuses toward reflexes rather than handling or positioning.
Man, you was make the big and hard work for create this video, it was cool video)
Thanks bro :)
Each style has its own benefits. Me, a 6' tall, 200 lb guy, would have broken bones trying to do some of those acrobatic moves. This is the video i've been looking for many years, good job bro 👊🏻
Awesome as always...!!
Thank you man :)
Both set off keepers make saves but Acrobatic saves look a beauty
acrobatic keeppers do most wonderful and impossible saves.
Truuue
You haven't seen Buffon do his thing.
I don't know why he isn't recognized as an acrobatic goalkeeper because he's GOOD. Ochoa in the World Cup was also good.
Martin Melle whos that goalkeeper in 2:11?
@@djsaidez271 he doesn't seem to give free corners, that's why
I think the acrobatic is better than the traditional, because he can save impossible balls, De Gea is a good example for showing that.
Nico Krause but he id traditional
David Velasquez no he’s Acrobatic, Neuer is Traditional
he is also tall
Is it weird that I seem to be the only person who thinks that traditional looks better and acrobatic looks weird?
Hmmm...acrobatic GK do tend to perform reflex-like saves more often, so I see what you mean.
No you’re not
You are not the only one
Srivardhan Jangili whos that goalkeeper in 2:11?
Young Mobstaz Ryan
Acrobatic looks cooler to me
The traditional animations look better in my opinion 🤔
Good work bro👌👌👌🤜
Thanks man :)
I am here because of live editor in fc 25, thats the only video that i found about this
You congrats a new sub, nice job
Thanks so much bro :) welcome
This deserves more views
😉 Thanks for watching and sharing!
Genuinely interesting video, nice
Thanks for liking the video!! Glad you enjoy :D
Great video bro! You're always fantastic!
Thank you!
feels like acrobatic is just a little bit better, looks they can reach shots better than traditional ones. No big difference though
True. That’s what I noticed too! Thanks for watching man!
Gran video amigo, me gusto mucho, Sigue asi!
Saludos!!!
Gracias :)
acrobatic just adds random movement to make it look glorious
Acrobatic its like they say in South america "Se tiro para la foto", "He dived for the cameras".
Ah nice !!😉
hahaha :))
Amazing!
Thanks bro!!
Best video on GK in Fifa 18
Than you! :)
Onnethox No problem
Amazing video
Thank you man!
You're Welcome
Good vid👍 very little diffrence tho
Thanks bro :) I agree there are slight differences, but not too big.
Joel Ullberg I
great video, always wonder what was the difference
Thanks!!
Traditional gk= players w/o the fair trait
Acrobatic = Players with fair trait
Great vid man =)
Thanks bro :)
Acrobatic are better with saves and reflexes but traditional are better with handling and goal kicks
Yeah, like like Courtois has one of the highest handling stats and he’s a traditional GK.
Goal kicks? You mean out of hand kicking?
Lewis Gordine yes
Chris Klitou whos that goalkeeper in 2:11?
I LOVE UR VIDS SO MUCH!!
Thanks man! Means a lot :)
nice vid!
Thank you :D
There’s is no differnce to the style. The only alternation is the way it looks. It doesn’t make the goalkeeper any better that he can do more “acrobatic” saves. Still love the acrobatic animation tho ;)
Acrobatic makes good looking saves :D
Very nice video
Thank you man :)
Nice video keep going😎😎😎
Thanks! :D
Its the same for me but i prefer the tradicional because it's safer and it gives less rebounds
:)
I think I might drop a sub to this channel. Keep up the great vids!
Thanks man :)
Wow Good Video Keep It Up
Thanks bro!!
nice vid bro
Thanks! :)
You really put a lot of efford in this videos so that's a like from me
Nice!! Thanks man :)
but are they begovic ??!
🤔...*Mind blown*
Slight differences in the animations. Prefer Acrobatic
Yeah, it seems like they do the same thing
It’s an excellent video, how do you doing for the montage, please?
Thanks bro!! I use Elgato HD60 and Vegas Pro 14 to edit bro :)
Ok,thank you I’m suscribed today bro!😜
Thanks so much bro :D
Traditional GK are more safe....acrobatic GK are risking, but when you see De Gea....
I like to risc,to make incredible saves, but may i prefer safe
Cool video keep up the good work
Thanks man!!
Last year in pro clubs acrobatic was the way to go because of how much better your goalkeeper was. But this year there is no choice only a N/A
Wow really?!
Onnethox In player career mode when you choose acrobatic your diving and reflexes increase drastically, while traditional is well-rounded
Anyone else notice how funky looking the hand animations are?
I realized while watching how beautiful this game really is
Acrobatic looks more instinctive and traditional looks more clean and calculated
That seems to be true since Begovic is like the most OP gk in the game. 😆
Acrobatic is a little bit better
Could u do one for fifa 19
Yeah!
The video sound is pretty good, beyond my imagination
Acrobatic is best
Not really they parry the hall out so much to the corner which may end up a goal
Ur grammar is the best
Nope, just good looking. I prefer traditional
Fifa's animations sucks, but nice video bro.
Thanks man!
nice video
Thanks!
No problem
Them graphics look🎥good
there is almost no difference...
A few saves had difference but because the ball didn't come in the same angle as the previous traditional one shown...
Acrobatic goalkeepers tend to have better reflexes and diving saves, but less catching ability
I am a goalkeeper and i use the traditional and acrobatic also 😂😂😂😂😂 in air acro and on ground trad
Acrobatic seems to be more realistic
Greek Freak no
This is my opinion. I like more acrobatic saves
Greek Freak just because you like it doesn't mean it's more realistic
More dramatic, not realistic
Lloris hand went down all the way under the pitch
Yeahh. 👀
acrobatic goalkeepers best when used to saves short range shots or 1v1(they also get up quickly after they parry the ball away).meanwhile traditional goalkeepers usually best against mid and long range shots . but they bad at reflexes especially on 1v1 . the only thing that help the traditional goalkeepers on 1v1 is their size and height
I feel like you get less rebounds goals scored against you with acrobatic
Interesting, do you feel like they parry it out of play instead of right at the opponent?
Acrobatic GKs jump higher???
A little bit dramatic for the acrobatics but as long as they managed to keep from conceeding a goal then both is good though
Traditional is more realistic and better
Good video.
Thanks bro!!
Having played Acrobatic on FIFA for years due to thinking that it looks more "cool/fancy", it's pretty clear to say that Traditional is better. No nonsense/unnecessary saves that can rebound into an easy goal. Either catch the ball or parry it away safely. My goal is not to concede
Over this video I subed
Thanks bro!! Glad you liked the video!
Acrobatic ones have more reflexes and is more beatifull. Traditional in the other hand (literally lol) is more safe, having more handling with his hands, and for me, is more realistic
you might as well just play this on 2x speed since theres like 8 different angles for each save
De Gea is one of the finest. But as the video shows, being an acrobatic GK, he goes for one hand and sometimes I believe even delays his jumps.
Acrobatic: The Jump Is More Higher
Goalkeepers in fifa can save shots ! !??
lol 😆
How’d u manage to get that save with Joe Hart?
It was the CPU that kicked the ball and I was controlling Joe Hart’s team, so it happened randomly.
Acrobatic save is very cool
They look nice :D
This is just my opinion but I think that acrobatic goalkeepers are more likely to dive to make a save and probably the way they dive as well
Nice
Thanks!! :)
Neur is traditional. He’s the best so I guess I’ll pick traditional
Have a way to take out that inside uniform ?
Ter stegen plays hockey ,right?
He’s Barcelona’s goalkeeper (football).
Onnethox then why he is not included in the list?
Because the list in the description was about the goalkeepers in the video. I did not put him in the video.
Onnethox 😂😂
Onnethox You answered the question like he really thought Ter Stegen was a hockey player. Lmao.
Whats the difference between acrobatic and traditional goalkeepers?
For me acrobatic is best
(Sorry for my English but i am argentine)
Pedro Rodriguez these fucking comments hurt my brain
DJ Yasser
Why?
Hablale en español y a la mierda jajaajaj
lel i am polish and idc if i made mistake in some comment so for what you write that you are argentine xd, peoples should dont care 2 that you made mistake
Luke Havo He meant the "sorry for my english" part you dumbass
Omg Mingolet saved a shot. Fuck off Karrius the man is back!
