Seriously man, in my three years of watching blender tutorials , there has been literally no one who has given videos of tgis caliber. Looking forward to see more. You have my like and subscribe.
Yeah I do, and I've watched every single one of their videos. They're great no doubt. But just look at his last tutorial. The plant one. Have you ever seen any composite like that?
If you know your way around Blender (not like me because I didn't understand half of what he said) this is an amazing tutorial, seriously, these are one of the best tutorials I've ever seen, great job
Holy cow, thanks for being the one that records an actual multilayer workflow on blender, i could not wrap my head around this up until this point, i already had some jobs witch i just had to rerender because i could not understand this
Hi Jacob. Awesome work man... Amazing video. I want to add some parts of the dry wall hanging at the edge of the hole. But overall the compositing part is mind blowing. Super like !!! :) :) :)
Hi Dany, awesome to hear you have ideas to improve on this! That is definitely my hope - that viewers would use this as a starting point to create even better work! If you create something, be sure to share it with me. I'd love to see it.
Gonna be cool to see an optimal way of handling a scene with some smoke. Also, this tutorial is one of the most advanced compositing tutorial for blender you'd ever find!! Amazing!! Thank you so much 😄
Thanks for nice tutorial. The reason I want to create stuff in Blender is to impress other people, however what I learn in most other tutorial don´t impress them. Even if I can´t make stuff like this by myself I can easy follow your steps. By that I think I learn a lot, so maybe I will soon pick it up and be able to do new stuff myself soon. Its very motivated when I show my result from this tutorial to my friends and they thought it was real, that motivated me to keep make more stuff to get the same feeling again. So hope you keep makeing more realistic tutorials so I can keep impress my friends by your help ;).Should like to see tutorials involving water and fire simulations. Looking forward for your next tutorial hope it comes soon ;)
9:28 please do a video on this kind of rendering i.e rendering everything separately. also amazing workk!!!! finally yt is receiving tuts related to compositing!!
@@InLightVFX my pleasure! I am thinking about making a RUclips channel, and looked up some videos how to get more views, maybe you can try the methods too (if you have time) 😃
Your work inspires me. I’d like to see a tutorial with green screen and a realistic background, like another room in someone’s house, a room that doesn’t exist in real life. Now, I’ll go check your Patreon page, and thank you for making this video!
I know this sounds like garbage and overly pretentious, but I'd really like to see a CG suit wrap around a real person, just like Iron Man. I love your tutorials, keep up the good work.
Charming, Professional, Detailed, tutorial produced to our community my friend! Keep up! One day You will reach heights!! Edit: But I feel really confused with the compositing section.. maybe I will get it better upon practice
Thanks, Sree! The compositing part is challenging - it took me a long time to get to my current level of understanding. You will get there if you keep at it!
You have so much potential to be one of the best Blender mentors out there. I mean it man! Your compositing knowledge is next level. Are you familiar with Nuke? :)
@@InLightVFX i just think maybe youd get a hang of it easily since its entirely Node based. I barely see people use Blender with this this much node power. Looking forward to more man!
I want to learn how to use blender. Stumbling on this video as the first makes me want to quit!!!. But Hell No. I'll be as Good as you one day. Great JOB
How did you track it please? I have a similar shot but I don't know how to setup the camera from a footage with only a wall. I put 3 markers and wanted to set it up as wall but Blender says that I should setup the floor first, but there is no floor on the plate. Somebody can help please?
Epic results man, nice work. I'm trying to render out passes as I follow, but as soon as I render animation, blender crashes. It doesn't crash for a single frame...any clues?
I'm good at modelling and other stuff, but with the materials and compositing it's just so confusing I don't know where to start. I'd love to do this tutorial but I don't understand half the stuff you do because I can't make materials/composite very well
There are a lot of Blender tutorials on how to make procedural materials. I suggest you binge a bunch of those and hopefully that will help! As far as compositing goes - not as many tutorials on that in Blender. But hopefully as I and other release more VFX-related content, you'll start to get more of a hang of it.
Hey Syed, thanks for the suggestion. In the meantime, you might watch my last tutorial as it covers how to put a cg object behind something like you say. Hopefully there's something helpful there.
Why didn't I find this back when I was moaning about the lack of a proper shadow catcher in Blender... Obvious now that it's because the pros use Multilayer. That said, the compositing is intense, think I'll try going with Premier/AfterEffects and the ProEXR plugin for that part!
I have a Ricoh Theta V which has a bracketing mode. This allows me to capture the same image at various exposure levels. Then I bring them into photoshop and use the automerge hdri function to create and export the .hdr file.

u are the blender VFX guru awesome tutorial as always.
What really sells this is the small details like the fingerprints on the tv (which you didn't notice consciously the first time, but will now!).

There should be some kind of node wrangler command to automatically create the multilayer nodes setup.
That would be nice. I imagine someone could code it in python.
Woah thanks man
That surprise spansih was a nice touch lmao. The even more professional way of doing this will be to not use blender at all though. Nice vid.
I really like seeing the profesional workfow mindset. It is a bit intimidating. But you just need to break it down.
amazing!!

Yes, I've had that same issue at times - very frustrating! In short, I'm not sure why it happens. Sometimes I just have to restart my computer.

Animate the hole actually fracturing with constraints? That'd be cool since I don't like using cell fracture.
