I have been giving thought to changing my stock TJ seats for PRP seats and harnesses . Now that you have yours installed it makes me want to do it more. TDS sounds like so much fun to do, maybe next year if I'm invited to do so .The High School jeep of yours has come along way since you bought it .I'm looking forward to your next video (s) . Take care and please say hi to Steph for me . Dave
The seats really changed the whole vehicle for me. It was worth every penny! I have only ever worked TDS as a vendor, so this will be my first year being there in a Jeep. We’ll see how it goes! I’ll tell Steph you said hi!
Best part: "...keep hands in when it rolls over" ... Steph doesn't flinch at that and just goes " Yeah I like it" Ain't care about it rolling over 1 bit!
Love this series, the Jeeps are looking good. Why not convert to fuel injection? It would by more consistent when crawling. Just a thought. Great video.
Thank you! I’m considering fuel injection. We all have to play within a budget, so if I can swing an EFI kit between now and the Rubicon I definitely will.
I looked this up and it’s rather expensive… that hurts my cost to fun ratio that I’m trying to maintain with this jeep. Somebody else suggested a hand brake out of a Jeep XJ.. what do you think of that idea?
@@CRAWLTV pick a part, tj, xj ,jk all should work under same premise. I don't know if you have enough room next to your center console to mount it on your right side.
Yeah the seat actually touches the center console. I’ll have to go back out and look at it for a bit to figure out what I’ll do. I may leave the foot brake and create a bigger T handle if there’s no space for a hand brake with these new seats 💺
Awesome job. As for e-brake, I removed the foot pedal e-brake and installed a hand lever brake from an XJ. Simple swap. I have the lever on the right side of the seat, but it could also go on the left side by the door. Just some thoughts for you.
You have part of what I consider "my dream home": Land with trails and elevation to go with the Jeeps. 🤙
I can not complain. I love my little piece of paradise out here.
Its looks like so much fun!! My seats gave me the same confidence so I hear what you are saying about being strapped in 👍🏻. Rad video as always!!!
Thanks Paul! And yeah, once you’re strapped in, the vehicle becomes an extension of you, so you feel like you can push the limits a bit harder!
That looks like a blast to drive! I've gotta start prepping for TDS too.
It’ll be here before we know it! I’m just glad I can actually drive the CJ7 again. It gives me a lot of motivation to get everything else done
Thanks a lot @CRAWLTV, now I'm on marketplace looking at CJs!
Haha! Yes!!! 😂🙏
great video bro👍👍👍
Thank you! I really didn’t know how this one would come together
"got side tracked with other projects" I felt that in my soul haha
It’s my life. My ADHD is both my biggest asset and my biggest curse.
They look great.
Thanks! It’s like a completely new Jeep now

I noticed that as well.
I was really expecting more of a reaction too 😂
@@CRAWLTV it was amazing. She is a keeper for sure. Mean that in the best way possible

This is a great comment. Maybe the junkyard or pick a part.
I’ll see what’s out there!
See if you can install Lokar XEHB-7000F Floor Mount E-Brake Handbrake left if the driver seat

That’s a great idea and I bet I could find one of those at a junkyard. Thanks!
