I don’t get why people play Wes he doesn’t even have a good ability like if a character has massive hunger but is super weak should have the best ability in the game to balance that out
I might be dummy dumb as I only really played wendy and wx so far but she is OP with wolfgang too. Wolfy has problems with food but Wendy just goes out to clear 4-5 level 3 spider dens singlehandidly, a few frog lakes and boom food is covered for the whole season. She cant deal with bosses well but the mightiest man alive will cover that part so I think they are an OP combo.

Wendy and Webber is very good too, Wendy can summon Abigail by killing one of Webber’s spiders and helps with taking out hordes of mobs, farming mobs and so much more. Webber just supports any team and his low sanity means lots of nightmare fuel early game. Besides, these characters are great for beginners too as Wendy doesn’t need to kite and Webber is just a generally great character.
I also thought about Wurt + Wickerbottom + Wormwood. Wurt can move vary fast on the swamp turf, is not attacked by merms and can see where the tentacles are, so she has advantage where it comes to collecting ingredients for books. Wormwood helps with having more vegetables which also helps Wurt etc
Winona plus willow is a good combo, the ducktape can be really nice for repairing bernie and bernie can be good for grouping up opponents for the catapults.

It swaps the consumer's health and sanity, which even works on Wormwood, meaning in between planting, chop yourself to near death for living logs, swap your health and sanity, plant seeds to regain sanity, repeat. Stacks of logs for dark swords for when you want to turn anything with health into meat with your spicy volt goat jelly Wolfgangs after swapping back

Walter's "downside" gets nulled by the souls he gives Wortox by one shotting birds and stuff with his slingshot, which is way less of a headache than a boomerang, Wortox's "downside" gets nulled by spending a night cooking stuff for Walter while Walter is telling campfire stories.
Ever since the Abigail buff, there's almost no point in going webber since you can easily farm natural spider dens as Wendy far easier. Wendy pairs well with pretty much any group now, even without any of the Abigail tonic things.

Infinite free living logs, use bramble husk to get infinite souls, can get infinite bramble traps, wortox can easily teleport MILES away to deposit all the tons of extra crops wormwood has grown into poop in order to give wormwood plenty of poop to use to make giant potatoes for example! Even back here before some of the huge additions to the combo it was STILL extremely powerful and quite likely the best combination ever!
I use Woody and Webber in multiplayer games. Its so that theres a fighter, and a gathering player. Webber can also use spiders to fight. I think you should have put woody and webber in this video. Great video though!
I feel like you should’ve included Wortox and Woodie because Woodie has a 90% Moose form and he can deal the same as a fresh hambat p.s. can’t heal during that transformation and Wortox can just use his souls to heal him up and Woodie can help Wortox gather souls easily just like Wendy.
another amazing combo is wigfrid and wolfgang,wolfgang can collect alot of resources easily and wigfrid can make armor and weapons with the resources wolfgang collected and wigfrid can also boost wolfgang with the battle songs to make it so wolfgang can gain back the sanity he lost because of the modifier and can also give him life steal and make his weapons last longer

You can plant spiders and abi can kill them for food, glands, and silk for webber. The meat can be used for Webber only or used in things like meatballs. You can get a ton of food and supplies with these two.
Wurt although not good at any specific combo can make for a food addition in resource harvesting in the late game I WOULD SAY IF I WAS A FOOL WE ALL KNOW WURT CAN'T EAT MEAT INSTANTLY DROPPING IN QUALITY FROM 7/10 TO 2/10 "Every wigfrid main"
Wurt would honestly be useful for setting up Merm farms if it weren’t for the fact that basic fish were changed to only give morsels. *This means you can’t make Surf ‘n’ Turf with Merm drops*
I do this because it is more likely to keep the viewer watching than a still image, which in turn increases watch time, which causes the algorithm to recommend my videos more often :)
Walter and Wendy is a combo I do with my sister. While my sister provides protection from hounds I protect us from bosses by using my slingshot to take them out. I do use a lot of marble to do it though but it’s fine. Also Abigail can kill butterflies so if Walter takes damage you can heal up and raise your sanity with Wendy’s special sisturn.
I like it when a character is OP with themselves. It sounds so funny, oh you are a decently balanced character that can survive on your own? What if you were to cooperate with a copy of yourself?...
One combo missing from this video is webber and wormwood. You can put the monster meat in with the filler from wormwoods farm to make what I like to call "the meatball factory"
Gone in a group with each player representing one character? Is one of those members causing mayhem? Take away their privileges. Easy to do, and works!
If I can say something, our (my friend's and my) favourite character combo is Walter & Wendy; Wendy "has" her sister's ghost, Abigail who is a living terminator....(i mean she isnt living cuz she died, haha :D) She kills EVERYTHING what tries to hurt Wendy, so yea... And Walter! He can tell storys in the night, what's calm down them, and he has a chester-monster-dog called Woby, so they can take a lots of things to everywhere! And also, but not least, his doggo, Woby can transform into a big giant monsterdog, what is kinda good, cause Walter can ride him, and he can run like the wind... If he isnt hungry, he can run almost as fast as Forrest Gump! So yea.. Try it if you want to! 😎🐶👻
For the wortox and wolfgang combo, it's actually much much much better for wortox to just carry a few meaty stews to eat, as it is extremely efficient for wortox, each meaty stew satisfying a whole day's hunger. With eating souls all the time wortox will literally be insane ALL the time, and wolfgang ALSO struggles with insanity more often than others due to his sanity penalties that cause extra loss. Basically you'll both be struggling to fight nightmare creatures all the time! And for souls wortox can easily stockpile a HUNDRED souls by just going out with 10 bug nets and capturing 100 bees, only taking up 5 inventory slots, and then you can easily have enough healing for everyone to fight even the bloody fuelweaver and not run out of heals. I do see quite a lot of potential for wolfgang to get fast and easy souls for wortox to use, but i can't see the combo of them being all that good other than in the bee queen boss fight, or just huge swarm fights, like frog rain. Not a very good combo at all other than a few specific scenarios, webber and wortox is better as you can easily have webber give you spiders to murder for souls and silk to get bug nets or fishing rods for even more souls at a much more controlled rate.
Oh right and if webber wasn't reworked yet, still webber is better because he can just bring spiders over to wortox and have them go into a huge frenzy and fight each other, then when wortox has enough souls he can just leave as they will still kill each other. And then you get the silk you need as well!
Best part about being Webber is that he clashes with pretty much every character. It’s fun putting a spider nest right next to everyone’s base and seeing them freak out.

My idea for a character, Wesley, the tinkerer. He is Webber's dad and Wagstaff's nephew, he is able to build machines. He is also the one who created WX but couldn't get him working, until Maxwell stole the blueprint and brought WX to life using nightmare magic. Perks: -Can craft mechs using his mech garage, there are four stages and three types: Makeshift, Sturdy, Industrial, and futuristic. Each piece of a mech must be made separately, the pieces can be carried like suspicious marble. There are 5 pieces, 2 legs, 2 arms, and 1 cockpit or torso. The Makeshift mech is crafted using boards, rope and cut stone, the cockpit glass is made of simple fencing. It has 200 health and a speed half of the player, it can punch for 25 damage, so it is pretty bad. The sturdy mech is crafted using cut stone, gold, a few electric doodads and 1 gear per limb, the cockpit glass is gold mesh. It has 350 health and can punch for 50 damage; its speed is half of a player. The industrial mech is crafted using gears, thulcite, frazzled wires, electric doodads, and the cockpit glass is moon glass. It has 750 health, and its speed is the same a player unless it is a movement mech. This is the first customizable mech, you can add three different types of arms: collecting (uses a green gem that depletes over time and Pick/axe, can chop trees and mine rocks), combat (Uses a red/blue gem, which depletes over time, and a spear/blow dart which varies the type of combat), or movement (Uses an orange gem, and a walking cane. Travels twice the speed.) The industrial mech also has 2 chests worth of storage. The futuristic mech could be crafted using some new rare material, moon glass, wires (Craftable with gold and mosquito sacks), Gears, and moon rock. This mech has 1500 health and a speed equal to a player, unless it is a movement mech. This mech has to be customized and can be the three types mentioned before except you need much better materials to craft them. -Can craft small machines, there are three machines: Collector drone, Miniature car, and Rube Goldberg. The collector drones have two levels, one can pick up certain items like the Allay in Minecraft, and the second can pick up, pick, or slowly mine rocks and trees. The miniature car is like a Chester and can hold 6 items. If given a lightbulb it will light up, similar to hutch. Rube Goldberg machine can raise sanity by a certain amount depending on the different attachments. -Can craft vehicles: Airship, that can take you to a set location and has 3 uses. Go kart, can be driven at a speed that depends on the type of car and power source. Better boats can be larger, faster or more durable. -Each machine, mech or, vehicle has to have a power source. Oil can be mined from caves power level, 2. Windmills can be made at different levels power level ranges from 1 to 3. Lightning, lightning rods can be put on top of mechs and vehicles, power level 5. -Has an extra stat similar to Wolfgangs mightiness called intelligence that determines the condition of the machines he makes Detriments: -Doesn't dabble in magic, cannot craft or use any magic items, and loses sanity around shadow manipulator and prestihatitor at a rapid rate. -Is terrified of spiders, loses sanity and takes double damage from spiders. After he cast his son out of his home, he feels guilty and is terrified of spiders. -Loses intelligence whenever he see's something he conceives as illogical Stats: 150 health, 150 sanity, 100 intelligence and 200 hunger. He can modify his health using body modifications. He cannot revive using touch stones or other items because those are all magic, but he can craft robots to inherit his consciousness when he dies. I spent an hour writing this comment please like. If any modders want to steal my idea, please do, and send me a link to the mod page.
A "balancing" combo would be Wormwood and Wurt. Wormwood can make a farm right away for Wurt and can eat the meat (and monster meat). Wurt can adopt Wormwood and they live happily ever after in her handcrafted swamp. That's it. I love both characters sorry its kinda stupid

Well one of my favorite combos is Wendy and Wolfgang, cuz Wendy with Abigail deal with the swarms, while Wolfgang does huge damage to single targets.

If I can say something, our (my friend's and my) favourite character combo is Walter & Wendy; Wendy "has" her sister's ghost, Abigail who is a living terminator....(i mean she isnt living cuz she died, haha :D) She kills EVERYTHING what tries to hurt Wendy, so yea... And Walter! He can tell storys in the night, what's calm down them, and he has a chester-monster-dog called Woby, so they can take a lots of things to everywhere! And also, but not least, his doggo, Woby can transform into a big giant monsterdog, what is kinda good, cause Walter can ride him, and he can run like the wind... If he isnt hungry, he can run almost as fast as Forrest Gump! So yea.. Try it if you want to! 😎🐶👻

For the wortox and wolfgang combo, it's actually much much much better for wortox to just carry a few meaty stews to eat, as it is extremely efficient for wortox, each meaty stew satisfying a whole day's hunger. With eating souls all the time wortox will literally be insane ALL the time, and wolfgang ALSO struggles with insanity more often than others due to his sanity penalties that cause extra loss. Basically you'll both be struggling to fight nightmare creatures all the time! And for souls wortox can easily stockpile a HUNDRED souls by just going out with 10 bug nets and capturing 100 bees, only taking up 5 inventory slots, and then you can easily have enough healing for everyone to fight even the bloody fuelweaver and not run out of heals.
I do see quite a lot of potential for wolfgang to get fast and easy souls for wortox to use, but i can't see the combo of them being all that good other than in the bee queen boss fight, or just huge swarm fights, like frog rain. Not a very good combo at all other than a few specific scenarios, webber and wortox is better as you can easily have webber give you spiders to murder for souls and silk to get bug nets or fishing rods for even more souls at a much more controlled rate.
Oh right and if webber wasn't reworked yet, still webber is better because he can just bring spiders over to wortox and have them go into a huge frenzy and fight each other, then when wortox has enough souls he can just leave as they will still kill each other. And then you get the silk you need as well!

Best part about being Webber is that he clashes with pretty much every character. It’s fun putting a spider nest right next to everyone’s base and seeing them freak out.

You forgot Weber and wormwood Weber can get infinite spider glands and wormwood can make a garden they both have basically access to farms right off the bat the spider farm to start spider wars and the normal farm
I doubt the algorithm will use jimbo's meat for a giant chicken nugget rather than four hambats. There clearly is a better option here.
My idea for a character, Wesley, the tinkerer. He is Webber's dad and Wagstaff's nephew, he is able to build machines. He is also the one who created WX but couldn't get him working, until Maxwell stole the blueprint and brought WX to life using nightmare magic.
Perks:
-Can craft mechs using his mech garage, there are four stages and three types: Makeshift, Sturdy, Industrial, and futuristic.
Each piece of a mech must be made separately, the pieces can be carried like suspicious marble. There are 5 pieces, 2 legs, 2 arms, and 1 cockpit or torso. The Makeshift mech is crafted using boards, rope and cut stone, the cockpit glass is made of simple fencing. It has 200 health and a speed half of the player, it can punch for 25 damage, so it is pretty bad. The sturdy mech is crafted using cut stone, gold, a few electric doodads and 1 gear per limb, the cockpit glass is gold mesh. It has 350 health and can punch for 50 damage; its speed is half of a player. The industrial mech is crafted using gears, thulcite, frazzled wires, electric doodads, and the cockpit glass is moon glass. It has 750 health, and its speed is the same a player unless it is a movement mech. This is the first customizable mech, you can add three different types of arms: collecting (uses a green gem that depletes over time and Pick/axe, can chop trees and mine rocks), combat (Uses a red/blue gem, which depletes over time, and a spear/blow dart which varies the type of combat), or movement (Uses an orange gem, and a walking cane. Travels twice the speed.) The industrial mech also has 2 chests worth of storage. The futuristic mech could be crafted using some new rare material, moon glass, wires (Craftable with gold and mosquito sacks), Gears, and moon rock. This mech has 1500 health and a speed equal to a player, unless it is a movement mech. This mech has to be customized and can be the three types mentioned before except you need much better materials to craft them.
-Can craft small machines, there are three machines: Collector drone, Miniature car, and Rube Goldberg. The collector drones have two levels, one can pick up certain items like the Allay in Minecraft, and the second can pick up, pick, or slowly mine rocks and trees. The miniature car is like a Chester and can hold 6 items. If given a lightbulb it will light up, similar to hutch. Rube Goldberg machine can raise sanity by a certain amount depending on the different attachments.
-Can craft vehicles: Airship, that can take you to a set location and has 3 uses. Go kart, can be driven at a speed that depends on the type of car and power source. Better boats can be larger, faster or more durable.
-Each machine, mech or, vehicle has to have a power source. Oil can be mined from caves power level, 2. Windmills can be made at different levels power level ranges from 1 to 3. Lightning, lightning rods can be put on top of mechs and vehicles, power level 5.
-Has an extra stat similar to Wolfgangs mightiness called intelligence that determines the condition of the machines he makes
Detriments:
-Doesn't dabble in magic, cannot craft or use any magic items, and loses sanity around shadow manipulator and prestihatitor at a rapid rate.
-Is terrified of spiders, loses sanity and takes double damage from spiders. After he cast his son out of his home, he feels guilty and is terrified of spiders.
-Loses intelligence whenever he see's something he conceives as illogical
Stats: 150 health, 150 sanity, 100 intelligence and 200 hunger.
He can modify his health using body modifications.
He cannot revive using touch stones or other items because those are all magic, but he can craft robots to inherit his consciousness when he dies.

A "balancing" combo would be Wormwood and Wurt. Wormwood can make a farm right away for Wurt and can eat the meat (and monster meat). Wurt can adopt Wormwood and they live happily ever after in her handcrafted swamp. That's it. I love both characters sorry its kinda stupid
