I'm in Central Washington. I've been taking pictures of it for 3 months. It shows up at about 8pm right now and within minute it becomes very bright. On my camera it acts very strange sometimes. It slowly moves toward the horizon and then as early as 10PM it starts to get smaller as if it is backing up until it disappears taking about a half hour. Sometimes it's there until 11PM. It "turns on" in the same place every night. Most nights the pictures are the same but some nights it does very strange things. I'm mesmerized by it and I also wonder why I seem to be the only one that notices, take pictures or talks about it.
Great videos. I see you also captured stars in the background as well. Seems to me that this object is most likely in high orbit...not way out there millions of kms in space. I've been watching this object and it's companion for about 8 years now and it doesn't match any known star position that I know of. You're right about no one talking about this..how could this not get noticed and discussed more? It has a structure to it, moves it's position and displays a variety of colours. Very odd situation to say the least. None of it's characteristics resembles any known characteristics of stars at all. I would feel better knowing that we are looking at a natural phenomenon, but we all know in our hearts of hearts that we are looking at something far more than that. It's good to see that you have kept a record of it. Are you planning to do more videos? I hope you will.
I saw this last night. I only had a iPhone camera but took pictures and video for myself. Was walking my dog about 9pm. Was not the usual night time suspects! Low and bright and very strange. When I try to search there is nothing being said about it.
