Awesome to spot Air Canada Dreamliner with the new Olympic livery . beautiful Air Tahiti nui 787 and it think KLM A330 is the only airbus aircraft featured in this video...B787 Dreamliners,B737,B777 are usual visitors@YVR
The CP-140 Auroras are essentially new birds. Totally rebuilt physically and electronically from the ground up with the very latest in ISR technology. They have gone through 4 stepped mission system upgrades. They do not function just as sub hunters in the RCAF battle order. They are much more advanced than standard P-3Cs and fulfill an overland ISR battle management role. Just count the number of blade antennae attached. They will be the last of their kind to hit the boneyard.
Thank-you for the brief on the P-143. The Lockheed Electra itself is a fascinating aircraft. Back when it was built, manufacturers built aircraft that would last forever.
Congrats on creating another masterful spotting compilation! I really like the idea of that little trailer at the beginning, makes you even more hyped for the video. Keep up the great work!
That’s really awesome eye trapper! Great catch of the new ac livery, and everything else. I wanna be like the ‘eye trapper of Toronto’ lol, like with the 4K and cinema ratio but at YYZ. You inspired me a lot and you’re a part of the reason why I have my channel now :)
Thank-you for sharing. Happy belated Canada Day to you and all yo ur Canadian viewers! Your opening was interesting. At least for me, its merit lied in never being tried before (At least I have never seen it.). I liked it, and I think you should keep it. I am glad to see the 737 MAX finally out of the dog house. I just hope that the lessons learned stay with Boeing a very long time. As always, I thoroughly enjoyed the video. I cannot add anything else to what has been said by others in their comments. Please keep up the great work!
Thanks bud, we appreciate it. Glad you liked it, thought for a longer video it fits. Indeed, it's great to see the AC 737. Cheers mate, have a good one!
good showing eye trapper, and I hope you have been keeping cool from the heat that the west of Canada have been having, very hot I say, hope it not going to be like that next year as we are due to come over
I see what's happening here. As things start to open up, YVR is going to continue hogging all the Dreamliners. Just like before. Fine. Be that way. (Great vid, ET) - nice catch on the "touch and go"... Rgds from YLW.
I was just on a flight from YOW-YVR and vice versa (both on 787-8s) (C-GHPU and C-GHPY) If my flight was a day earlier I could have been in this vid AND I could have been on the Olympic livery aircraft XD Great Video
Nice spotting! I saw this livery yesterday and have film of it on my camera. Did you see the great spotting hour that afternoon? I here’s the list that i recorded: WestJet 789, French airforce A332, EVA 789 China southern 789, French bee A359 and the Air China A359 carbon fibre livery… it was a blast!
They recently introduced the 737 MAX8 here on their service out of KEF. Beautiful aircraft but I will miss those 757/767 that they have operated here for years.
@@OtakuAviators They are starting back up their route to KEF to BWI in Maryland later this year. They previously had service out of there, (its my home airport), than stopped during the pandemic. I will miss the 757 engines that rocket the Pencil Plane. The MAX10 just started flying tests yesterday, 2 more years to wait for that to come out, will temp fill the void of the 757-200 until the 10 is in delivery phase, than they will work on competitor to the 321NEO XLR.
@@ravensrulzaviation That A321neo XLR is a stunning piece of modern aviation technology as well by the way. Spotted one from Arkia last week here in AMS: wow!
Better than last year but still far fewer flights and passengers than pre-Covid. Number of flights only about 25% of normal and number of passengers only about 10% of same period in 2019, meaning much lower load factors. International and US transborderflights in particular are way down, about 5% of pre-Covid with all the quarantine and other restrictions at both ends on most routes. The international and US transborder areas of the terminal are almost deserted for most of the day.
I don't like that you put what is going to happen in the video because then the video breaks. I like to see it without knowing which planes are going to leave and what is going to happen. But good video :)
Beautiful spotting compilation. Nice to see you caught the new Air Canada Olymics livery, and the Aurora too. They were tearing it up over Victoria. Also, it seems YVR was the place to be on Canada Day. Did you happened to catch the private MD80?
Thanks mate! It was a pretty eventful day. I saw her in radar but didn't catch it. If it was still In the gold livery I would make an effort to catch it. Cheers mate.
@eye trapper I hope I dont get stuck on the same old 20 year old 737 heading to Sarasota Florida again and the morning flight down is the same flight number, but i hope newer plane.
Great program once again, saw more heat-haze than normal must be the same conditions hitting the US pacific northwest. Btw, why is Canada allowing citizens from Asia and Europe into your country while banning US citizens during Covid 19?
Nice work Trap. Always looking forward to your videos,

The P-3 touch and go was spectacular. Hard to believe those are still in service.

brilliant spotting work man
The airport seems to be so much busier now. Time for a trip to the outlet mall to watch the planes again
Indeed, good to see an increase
The master at work as always! But that Aurora TNG was quite a sight :-o I wonder when/if they will retire those. Greetings from YUL!
Glad you enjoyed! I wonder also, it was great to see it.
Amazing intro compilation! Needless to say your filming is on point :)
Beautiful work as always. A big Like:)

Thank you
I literally watch these while playing infinite flight 🥰. Put me in the zone!!!! Lol 😆
😄👌
Good video eye Trapper ,what are the number mean when the planes fly in ,thanks
Thank you, do you mean the flight numbers? They are numbers that identify an aircraft from other aircraft.
I'm pretty sure I saw he 787-9 Olympic Flag departing from Ottawa. It's on my RUclips channel!
Hii mann nice video 😉
Wait til Iceland Air starts flying into there with their MAX9s, they are so happy to be able to retire their old 757s.

The 2017 Air Canada Livery is definitely one of the best current liveries. I don’t understand why they don’t finish painting the rest of their fleet?
What happened to the MAPLE LEAF in the WESTJET tail livery ?
That's a really good video. I was just curious that weren't the 737-Max banned before as they had some technical issues?
They were for a period of time but have been re-certified after Boeing made required improvements and pilots were trained on the changes, etc.
Great video! Is it just me or is there a semblance of normalcy now at YVR given the apparent increased volume of flights?🤔

i like the new intro it is awesome!
When I saw the CP-140, I first though it was a P-3 Orion! Silly me, right?
Basically the same aircraft haha
@@eyetrapper They look almost identical.
