No idea how you can despise coldplay. They are one of the decent bands out there.
Devent Lorenzius they are Radiohead for dummies, imho...they also won a grammy for a song they blatantly copied from Joe Satriani. To each their own when it comes to music...I don't begrudge anyone for liking them, I'm just not really a fan of them.
I don't think there's any possible comparison between Coldplay and Radiohead. To me Coldplay are efficient through simplicity, Radiohead are way more brainy. It's like comparing the Kinks and the Pink Floyd.
