Sometimes it depends on luck, if your flowers are opening right when it rains, this will mess up your productivity, my Edgar had bad luck, it rained both times it bloomed, only the second bloom gave a few fruit, so only about 20 fruit, had more luck with Pickering and Cotton Candy, those trees are loaded.
How I miss the wonderful groves of my youth! I do love that mangoes may well be their replacement, but not as far north as I live, or even Orlando in a tough winter like this past one.
Our Carrie is the only tree that is a rock star this year. Like yours, our Orange Sherbet had zero fruit. However, I planted one in South Miami as a Christmas gift for a friend and it's loaded. Maybe it has to do with the zone???
I heard how tasty the orange sherbet mango is but I want a mango that produce enough mango & taste good , space is limited, so I any top have recommendations for central FL
I am in Thailand. The trees were all grafted and are about 25 years old. The weather over the last few years has been all over the place. We haven't had a proper cool spell for about 7 years. We also have some Marian plum trees and a single Santol tree. They both produced fruit for the first time in about 5 years this year. Seems you only need one thing to go wrong and the trees won't produce.
Just seeing all those fruits is very therapeutic.

That's an interesting observation.
Thanks Chris. Another great video as always.
Enjoyed watching.

I got 6 left hanging on my Florigon.
Super video 😍💗
Unfortunately my Keitt only has 6-7 mangas this year, last year over 70.
I have 15 mature mango trees and had a total of 1 fruit this year.
Where are your trees? Were they grafted? That sounds crazy.
