Regarding the Campbeltown’s historical significance. Let’s not forget it rammed a dry dock in Saint Nazaire, then loads of British commandos jumped off it and shot up the town. Then the giant bomb in Campbeltown’s hull detonated the next day, destroying the dry dock gate.
The Lazo is insane in a good way. Spec for maximum fire-chance and equip the fast-cycling spotter-plane (20.8km range). You will have 100k fire-damage before anyone gets to shoot at you. Since everyone and his grandmother plays BBs, it happens that more than half of all ships in the battle are BBs - so I counter the plague by playing Lazo. p.s. didn´t know she is available for coal, I got her for free in some mission.
Guys, during the Recommended section Bou mistakenly showed the Kirov instead of the Lazo. Also please excuse the pronunciations. :P - FreetheBrain (Editor guy) Also check out the video on Tiers 9 and 10: ruclips.net/video/UrwWV4bTLvI/видео.html
one of my favourite things about the yuubari was kinda ignored, the ASM0 having the ridiculous dispersion is surprisingly strong you can pinpoint specific spots on ships relatively easily, and smacking dds (which at the tier, are very small with tiny hp pools, so each hit matters a lot) is a lot easier
Agreed. To me this is the gimmick that makes the Yubari fun to play. Also it’s AA is good enough at Tier 4 that most CV’s will leave you alone. Still a glass cannon vs BB’s though
October Revolution is a very tanky BB and only has a 20 sec cooldown in damagecon which is nuts! Really good at close range and when using the tankiness to its full extent.
My first coal ship was the okat , it really taught me about what to do and what not to do in general, taught me how to preserve my consumables and what types of upgrades and commander skill to use. I would recommend that ship to anyone who is trying to learn BB effectively and efficiently.
I agree mostly but I still recommend Blys and especially Yubari. Yubari guns are hyper accurate and great for fires, but also nuke DDs and do high damage against lightly armed cruisers. It's also pretty maneuverable and the gun arcs can shoot over islands with ease. Blys is still a good all around DD, jack of all trades, master of none. But it's also a good counter to other DDs as it's guns hit quite hard.
I have both Yubari and Blyska. Agreed on Yubari but Blyska to me is currently jack of no trades unfortunately. Completely outclassed and yet apparently the most sophisticated DD of the Second World War. Needs more buffs than Zao
@@Maraudmania While I still find Blys quite serviceable, I think it's biggest issue is concealment. What is it, 6.8km with full concealment? Imo it should be significantly buffed, somewhere below 6.5km....the guns and torps are fine.
@@wesgeorge4112 I agree it’s concealment is probably the only thing that needs to be buffed. Alternatively you could buff the torp range but I think a conceal buff would be better.

I know, French is not an easy language.. it's got it's quirks..! But, it is a beautiful language after all..!:) Merci Beaucoup et continue ton bon travail.. À bientôt
For what it’s worth it looks like the flint has unlimited defensive AA and normal depth torpedos. while the pan Asian version dose not have unlimited defensive aa and can only hit BBs/CVs with its deal water torps.
kirov is a fun ship but it also depends on what you are looking for the tier 7s will be able ot get you more credits and freexp and cap xp over time while the tier 5 wld be more of a fun ship to play so wld all depend on what you want
@@OverLordBou they did buff the range from 11.1 to 12.4, and the smoke does help a bit. However, being an atlanta means having 13mm extremities which can be overmatched by standard heavy cruiser guns at tier 8 and above, which means that its very difficult to close in and use smoke offensively to deal damage to other ships, especially at higher tiers. TLDR: You get wedgied by anything with 203mm guns and above and you only have a 2km distance buffer between your gun range and 10km radar.
Interesting. My coal is going towards higher tier premiums but it'll be useful to see what's good for mid and low tier as well. Also, Blyskawica is pronounced "bl-iz-kah-VICH-AH".
A little correction here: the crossed L (ł) is pronounced somewhere inbetween a v and a w. It would Bviz -kah-vich-ah. The name means "Lightning", BTW.
Flint is ok. I’d say she is better than Atlanta just because the smoke, her torpedos are also actually usable unlike Atlanta’s she can be very fun when playing with a buddy in a division. But i would 100% prioritize getting the tier 9 kearsarge over it
I personally like her aswell but when being honest, she is just objectively much worse than her competition. She used to be ridiculously broken with her stealth fire ability back then, but got nothing in return when that mechanic was rightfully dumped. There wouldnt even be any dramatic changes needed to make her somehow viable again, a bit of reload or concealment maybe would suffice.
yeah, she's kinda just worse than say, vauquelin, minsk, or leningrad vauquelin has slightly more dpm and an mbrb, more range, more torps that go much faster, and actually has better conceal. also has much more health minsk and leningrad have just a bit less dpm (114k vs 119k), and similar range blyska kinda just doesn't have a niche, there's plenty of other gunboat dds that are kinda better, including tech tree ones although if you're looking for a t7 smoke gunboat dd with functional torps and don't want to get leningrad, sure I guess?
Marblehead, for those that like playing in a cruiser made out of tinder, and citadels. Still on the ships I love to take out for a spin and burn other ships down. Now just wonder why so many marbleheads end up alive at the end of a match for some unexplainable reason, other than they are cunning SOB's
Coal ships are frustrating for me. I am a relative noob, just over 3000 battles, I have ground through to Tier 8 in four lines (cruisers). I want to learn to play better and am unhappy if I do not play well. I do not necessarily want to buy Tier 9 or 10 ships and deal with either the really good long-term players or noobs with more money then sense who buy Tier 9 ships and DO NOT know how to play them! - I'd rather there were more Tier 6 and 7 coal ships! And, while I'm here, why are there no Tier 8 Coal Ships?! WHY! 😭
