  • The new small "adventure" modell of Benelli is a really surprising motorbike. Let's see why!
    donation.onroad.hu/ - If you donate us with some cofees' price and help our work, we present you all the vids days before publicity.
    INFO: the average consumption of the bike was 3.24 liter/100 km, so the range of the TRK 251 can be over 500 kms!!!

    Benelli TRK 251
    Prime impressioni a caldo
    Frizione a cavo, morbidissima.
    Una volta prese le misure la TRK diventa una piccole tourer sulle extra urbane dove trotterella a 80 km/h consumando il 2%, una ottima alternativa allo scooter in città e una motard nelle rotatorie. In autostrada ci va ma non è il suo terreno ideale. Fino a 110 km/h si può anche viaggiare, oltre i 130 il motore è decisamente al limite. Meglio le statali e le panoramiche di montagna. Protezione aerodinamica soddisfacente. Ottime tutta la illuminazione a led, essenziale ma sempre chiaro e leggibile il piccolo cruscotto LCD. Capacità di carico buona, oltre al bauletto ci si può montare un set di valige laterali e se applicati i ferri del paramotore appendere delle borse a tema. Serbatoio da 17 litri unito a consumi nell'ordine dei 25-30 km a litro le regalano una autonomia di almeno 400 km.
    Tagliandi: il primo a 1000 km poi ogni 6000 km. In quello dei 6000 è previsto un tagliando veloce che comprende la sola sostituzione dell'olio e filtro olio oltre ai soliti controlli. Nel successivo tagliando si controlla anche il filtro aria, pastiglie freno, etc. Costo tagliandi circa 90 euro. Bollo 25 euro.
    Direi che per 4000 euro di moto chiavi in mano è veramente una ottima alternativa allo scooter, di sicuro risultata più divertente e appagante nella guida. Oggi ho percorso i primi 200 km e mi ritengo ampiamente soddisfatto della Benelli TRK 251. Una moto forse sottostimata in Italia dove si è abituati a guidare mezzi ricchi di cavalleria ma che di certo a chi vorrà guidarne una non resterà deluso. Per ora è tutto.

    • @OnroadDotBike
      @OnroadDotBike  5 лет назад +4

      Yes, the final refueling was after making the vid. For 147.8 km the TRK needed 4.79 l, so the average was 3.24. There was lot of full throttle, top speed check, ETC. So I thing it's normal consumption is under 3 liter/100 km.

    For a rider of your size, for everyday use around the city would you choose this bike or BN302 abs you also recently reviewed. Hopefully you can respond to this dilemma as somebody who rode both. Thank you a lot

    • @OnroadDotBike
      @OnroadDotBike  5 лет назад +1

      The BN302 is 2 cylinder, more power but more weight as well. Really not easy to decide. Maybe this one was even more comfortable.

    • @LNChannelLNFamily
      @LNChannelLNFamily 5 лет назад

      I've been riding BN 302 for over a year or 12000 km, it's a pretty good bike and due to heavy weight you feel really planted and stable when riding. If you can find one for test ride, do so and you can make up your mind more easily. Hope that helps.

    Hello is this a single channel ABS or dual channel ? The dealer is saying it’s single channel on the front breaks while all the online info says it’s dual channel. Please help and clarify this issue.

    • @OnroadDotBike
      @OnroadDotBike  4 года назад +1

      In Europe on all bikes over 125 ccm the dual-channel ABS is required. In other regions there can be a single channel - but on the test bike it was acting on both wheels.

      @@kostaskatsaros5123 I had to choose between Versys and Benelli 251 and I went for the Benelli. It shivers and vibrates a lot at lower speeds so maybe not the greatest bike for traffic, but once you hit 85kph and higher, it's great. Much cheaper than Versys and definitely costs less to maintain because it's a single cylinder. Where I live, the Kawasaki costs three times more than thr Benelli

In addition could you please tell which s an average speed for a small trip of max 2 hours with two passengers (80 and 50 kilos accordingly) without vibrations and too much pressure for the moto?

    • @FabrizioSpinelli
      @FabrizioSpinelli 2 года назад

      I dunno where are you living, but in italy (and europe), Zontes costs 1500 euros more. Voge is something as 500/600 euro more, so in that case it is just a matter of personal
      "esthetic taste".
