    Thank you for the comments , i am sure without the gear shift problem a low 1.01 was possible on that day and then if we put on new tyres we would be even faster !
    I raced a 1994 Benetton at Donington and was doing 175mph down through the Craner Curves , with a lap time of 58 !

      nigelgreensall You’re video is keeping me going during the off-season. I did wonder about the gear changes, so glad you mentioned it; definitely slowed those laps significantly.

    Nudging an incredible 150mph down Craners in a 30yrs old F1 car makes you wonder what a modern F1 car what could do!

    does this 94 Benetton, you drove, had the downforce that Schumacher had on his'?
    and how much G-Force did the car pulled? I suppose a 94 F1 car could pull like over 4Gs

    Looks like it would have been a low 1.02 on that last lap, great driving.

    g-meter only says 1-1.8G, was way more than that!
