On September 29, the Jets will trade Connor Hellebuyck and 2025 3rd- and 5th-rounders to the Devils for Jonas Siegenthaler, Isaac Poulter, and Arseni Gritsyuk. This coming season, the Jets will finish 4th in the Central Division with a record of 40-27-15 and lose to the Golden Knights in 5 games in the Western Conference 1st round.

I disagree they will be that low in the standings, they were a top 5 team and you can look at the d as a downgrade but they're now more mobile, people wanted heinola for years so now he gets his chance and for everyone that hates Stanley all ville has to do is be more productive than him. There's something to be said for continuity and chemistry, like yea Nashville got a bunch of shiny new toys but what if it doesn't work right away. The last thought on my mind is I think they'll let Lambert get top playing time one more season rather than him play sheltered minutes and get like 30ish points.

I think they'll end up being better than the 18th best team in hockey, the ratings are based on where this team is currently, it isn't a prediction.
