Hello! Does it matter if the calphalon pan was bought at a Macys vs direct website?! Looking into filing a warranty claim!!
Nice review. Thanks for adding the volume of the pans.
I'm glad you posted this. I recently got a 20 year old set of Calphalon Commercial series replaced. Outstanding customer service.
great to hear, thanks for your comment.
Great review but I would like to point out that calphalon uses materials that are lead, cadmium and heavy metal FREE! This makes their pots and pats a bit less durable but much safer for you and your children! They do not get enough credit for this!
Thanks for sharing. I’ve been using this brand for YEARS. Happy to
Know they are safe
Wow now this is what you call a legit review ! Thank you so much for all your info! We all appreciate it. Now I have the info to make a wise decision!
Great to hear it helped your decision making process.
Thank you for your review, it helped my wife and I with our choice. I have pretty large hands, so the Calphalon felt uncomfortable, and so did the All Clad HA1. I'm very happy with the All Clad B1, I got a great deal for all three non stick pans.
great to hear, thanks for the comment
Same here! I gave away my HA1 and kept my B1. It's my go-to nonstick.
Really informative review. I have Calphalon and I like them because they are made with non-toxic materials. At least thats what they claim. Also their customer service and lifetime warranty is amazing.
Indeed. Thanks for the comment.
Now THIS is a review! I keep stumbling on these unboxing videos labeled as “reviews” with recommendations at the end to use their affiliate links. So disingenuous. Excellent job and thank you!
Right 😂 Cleary getting paid
Very professional, thanks, very helpful.
Thank you
Thanks for reminding me about the warranty
Ever wonder why ALL cook ware is compared to All-Clad, because your comparison is spot on? The Calphalon is cheaper and lighter than the All-Clad which translates into CHEAPER. Try holding the Calphalon pan with a dry towel like most kitchen chefs do, then you will realize why the HA1 handles are shaped the way they are.
I'm impressed by your omelette flipping!
Good review, thanks
Such an excellent review. GREAT job! 🙂 It's important to use these things for awhile, as you have done, before a truly comprehensive review is possible. Nice how you talked about the diff. in volume each pan holds. The handles are also a big deal. I have an (15 yr?) old 10QT Calphalon infused anodized pot w/glass lid that I'm crazy about. Nothing else in my (mostly Lodge cast iron) arsenal will take 5-7 bunches or broccoli rabe at once, lol! I feel like an IDIOT that I chucked a damaged infused anodized saucepan, when I could have tried a warranty replacement. I totally forgot Calphalon does lifetime warranty on some of their premium products. I have a glass-top range that I was very snobbish about when I 1st moved in, (cooked onna flame all my life) but I gotta say, cast iron and sealed burners are a marriage made in heaven. Between the heat life of the burner, and the Lodge iron, I am totally sold. And a well seasoned cast iron pan releases food without too much fuss. 👍

Good coments. I wonder if the induction plate would change (warp) the cooking surface, or actually improve the the performance.
I have found that it does not warp😊
please review cookwares that will work well with glass top stove. thanks!
I had both, I gave away my All-Clad HA1 for the All-Clad B1. I prefer the B1 much more.
Thanks for sharing those handles seem to be more comfortable
Thanks for the lifetime warranty tip.
Can you sear steak on the All Clad? Will that non-stick surface handle slightly higher heat, not all the way up, but 3/4 of the way when doing steak and eggs?
@@slikjmuzik yes and yes
I keep hearing that Calphalon pans have 3 rivets and All-Clad only has 2 rivets. I look for the Signature series Calphalons because they have 3 rivets and seem to be more substantial than their less expensive series that has 2 rivets. I'm about to try the lifetime warranty on some old boilers that are now shiny aluminum inside the pots and lids. It seems that acidic foods such as tomato or any other kind of citrus works on the finish. I've been told that Calphalon does not allow dealers to discount their product, but Bed, Bath, and Beyond allow store discounts to be used on the purchase, not the item.
thanks for the input.
Thank you for the information I found a 1.4 ltr pan in a second hand store. Id never seen the brand but for 6 bucks I bought it and it's the best pen I have... I want more and your review help me decide.
Thank you.
I just saw this but it's been a year nevertheless you have my sub & like👍⚡️💯
Awesome
So what's your opinion on Caphelon vs Anolon? Any suggestions?
Never used it.
Given the price of the items and the warranty policy Calphalon is a no brainer as All Clad is not standing behind warranty for hard anodized as they would their stainless-steel products which is Limited Lifetime key word LIMITED
I have loved my Calphalon cookware, and totally forgot about the warranty!! the coating is flaking after many years of use. Just filed a claim. fingers crossed they honor it.
good luck
Do you think calphalon seems less durable than All clad. Like, i understand there is a price difference, but is that difference worth it?
I have a calphalon stainless steel pot and sauce pot and love them, but of course, aluminum is far softer than stainless steel and harder to make a strong aluminum.
As has as the coating I'm not sure but the material used on the calphalon non stick is durable. I would say it's the same as all clad
I’ve heard of All-Clad Classic and ha1. Are these two different? If so, what is the difference?
I believe those are the same, ha1 has the original flared up handles.
Is it fair to say that you've had little-to-no personal experience with All-Clad's warranty coverage because you haven't needed to utilize it as much as you have with Calphalon?
I believe that's evident from the review.
@@daP.A Yep, but not specified directly, hence the assumption. Thanks for your response, the comparison, your personal experience/feedback on these pans, and the great video. I appreciate the work you put into producing this video.
@@daP.A, do you believe that is due to your All-Clad products having more durability?
To prolong the lifespan hand wash only and use plastic/wood utensils
Very good advice
Do I need to show a receipt for warranty
No, just fill appropriate paperwork
I just got some all clad from thier 2nds and damaged box discount sale.. I'm sure they will be better then my 10 year old shopping network pans. Lol.
For sure, good luck with them
👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
😊
I've had all clad pans for about 9 years they are in much better shape than yours and I use them on a daily basis . I also use them on induction cooktops , I would not trade them for any other brand.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment
How do people get oil and grease burned to the bottom of the pan and not clean it off??
That's discoloration from frequent use. I can assure you I clean my pans. Those stains on the bottom are not any different than. What you would see at a kitchen in a restaurant. Btw once in awhile I do give it a good cleaning and soak them thoroughly.
@@daP.A LMAO....I grew up in a household of 8....6 kids and 2 adults and have been washing dishes and cooking since the age of 12 and I'm 56 now......1st job after high school was Dishwasher at an Italian restaurant....Trust me when I say I call Nope Nada Hell Naw.....I've cooked with & washed Aluminum Stainless steel Carbon Steel and Cast Iron cookware....Burnt/Baked On Grease/Oil Makes No Sense for Home Use.....WTH are people cooking at 400-500 degrees & being Messy About It and too lazy to Clean Obvious Excess on the Outside of the Pan/Pot
I always use "Bar Keepers Friend" on my stainless steel, bottoms included. I was shocked when I saw the bottom of your HA1 skillet! Also, I use a toothbrush with barkeepers on it to clean around the outside rivets, handles, etc. Not inside if it has nonstick surface. My pans and skillets all look like new! Just takes a couple minutes and don't let it build up. I'm 74 and am proud to display my cookware hanging beautifully from my pot rack(s). PS: I love my first All Clad HA1 8" nonstick skillet I bought , Melaney from SoCal
@@da900smoove1 I agree!!
Geez, is it a tool meant to be used not a piece of decoration. Let him live, these aren’t stepford wife trophies. Glad to see people put restaurant level usage into their pans.
Do you ever listen to how many time you repeat everything?
So many kinds of pots
My Calphalon skillet failed. The coating flaked off and I discarded it. Won't buy Calphalon again.
Calphalon has a lifetime warranty, in most cases they will replace it.
You're not supposed to use nonstick spray on those pans, it damages the nonstick finish, according to the manufacturer
Did anyone else notice at the 2 minute mark the review says All Clap I have a dirty mind and found that to be hilarious, otherwise great review
That's certainly a problem lol, thanks for the comment
remember how you are you and your family had any
Thanks for the video however you have a tendency of repeating and repeating and repeating yourself. It's quite monotonous
