Well done wayne,
Some great golf shots there and some huge greens !
Cheers Dan. Wasn't too far away
Looks like your game has sharpened up a bit since Sherfield Oaks!
Sherfield oaks was after a month of no golf whatsoever... So good to find a bit of a game again
Played there last year! Lovely track. Was a bit soggy under foot though sadly.
Yeah. 2 good courses, nice spa too. I imagine gets a bit wet in the winter in some places..was decent condition when we played it tho. Couple of dodgy greens but then went back to good again
Played both courses a few years ago and heading down there for a golf weekend in 4 weeks. Greens were quite quick if l remember correctly.
Greens were rolling nicely... The downhillers were pretty treacherous
@@RealgolfWDl'll try not to leave too many downhill! 😂
@@Squonk0608 that's the plan... As if we could actually control that tho. Hey!
I actually remember this course did not play the east course well but the west course I shot level par…. 2 great courses
Great round... What do you play off to be shooting level par? West course does feel a bit more getable can certainly get away with a few more irons off tees
@@RealgolfWD yeah it was a good day played with a massive hangover and had to hide beverages on me if you know what I mean lol I play off 4 still got the card on my England golf,,, the west course is a bit more forgiving than the east course yes….but recently my form gone down hill,,, got club champs this weekend wish me luck my man
I live just down the road from this but never played there. How did you find it?
No way! Definitely worth a play. If I was to pick one I would play the East course.. feels a bit more major.. if that makes sense
@RealgolfWD Ah nice, will give it a go at some point. Hope you had a good couple of days
@@adammaclean-brown2386 really enjoyed it. Great value for an overnight stay... Not ideal for you being so close but a night away is a night away. Lol
Tough course by the looks of it good effort still
Yeah, not far off the handicap. Sat in the middle of the pack after day 1 so not too bad
@@RealgolfWD I am looking forward to joining a club so I can play a bit competitive just on a waiting list at the moment
@@davebebbz can still get a handicap without a membership. Can sign up to golf these days
