I recently cut my hair that was just about the same length as you, super long black virgin hair, I also donated it as well! I remember when I was a young child and my brunette mom got her hair highlighted. I didn't like it because she didn't look like my mom anymore. As I grew older, I thought it was very pretty. But it really scared me when it initially happened.
