Hello everyone I was wrong about the Guarded hero ability in this video! In the App it doesn't have the monster stipulation when in the book it does! I do apologize and appreciate everyone that pointed it out to me though. I meant to post this comment yesterday when I saw the first comment but I was a bit busy. Thanks everyone who enjoyed and I hope you have a good day!

Thank you for the video !
Deployment is so important for Nurgle and its low movement.
Monster doesn't benefits from Guarded Hero. It's written before and after the Guarded Hero abilities

Guarded hero doesn't apply to monsters and war machines
25.0 in the core rules "All heroes except monsters and war machines have the guarded hero passive"
    great video though 😊

Core Rules 25 says heroes who are monsters do not benefit from Guarded Hero at all. I think your friend just read the ability but not the section that says when it applies. It's two different entries in the app

Thank you for this super useful video! As someone who is struggling a bit playing my MoN, I always look up for advice from more experienced players and your contents are really helping me.

Thank ya kindly, we have some tricks in our book but not as many as a lot of armies out there. We rely really heavily on a 5up ward and trimming down our opponents chaff.

Good video, like to hear tips and tricks to piloting any army! There's really not much out there for age of sigmar in general for this kind of content!

One of the main issue I have with Horti is that I rarely find a decent place to drop a tree wirh the terrain features and the objectives

yeaha being 3 away is nice cause you can sometimes find a few janky spots to put it but theirs been more then once where I couldnt get a tree down

Nice video! Would be really nice if you can show some list examples and thought process on how you approach making a new list for testing out ideas. Thanks!

In my Nurgle review video I went over most of the core list ideas and how I build from those, different packages and gameplans as well!

at the end of the vid you talk about how the stormcast player couldn't bring things down from reserve until round 4. don't units in reserve get removed by the end of round 3? great vid either way!

    • @raymondlane
      @raymondlane  3 месяца назад

I know that was a stipulation in 3.0, but we couldn't find anything in 4.0 for it, even asked one of the judges and they couldn't find anything either.

@@raymondlane 24.1 reserve units: (last sentence reads) at the start of the fourth battle round, units that were set up in reserve using a deploy ability that are still in reserve are destroyed.
might be missing something tho idk

Are the cogs worth running to protect our monsters.

If you're running, say, GUO and Glottkin or GUO and Rotigus for example, I think it's worth it. If you can get the -1 to hit AND the -1 to Wound on BOTH, its pretty strong. Nothing's a guarantee, but it'll make them a lot more survivable.

Its something I've toyed with a little, and I would say the cogs aren't bad at all, something to consider in a lower cast list because the other two endless spells in that group are not great for us.

Any recommendations on where to put the tree? I used to put it near my home objective but my opponents just charge it to secure it
